Moses never made it to the promised land right? Really, I am trying to believe. I’ve been to a ton of masses because I am told Jesus is really there. So, if he is really there, I figured it would, something would happen there. Maybe his knowing I was going there to know, something. Anything.

But, nothing.😦
Patience, Strawberry. You are trying to force God’s hand. Instead, I encourage you to meditate on the words of Jesus in John chapter 6 and, each time before you go to Mass, say a little prayer: “O Jesus, I want to believe You are present under the appearance of bread and wine, but I cannot believe. Help my unbelief.” If you preserve in prayer, your prayer will be answered, though not in the way you think it will. God works in mysterious ways.

The second paragraph you wrote is about what I guessed I would say if I were a christian.

I’m not sure about the accuracy of the first paragraph, but I can see why christians believe that.

So why didn’t God just start out with christianity right from the start? Why if he knew there would be so many less people raised in the “right” religion? Or even one that a person would be drawn to? This is never going to add up to me.
OK, first God made 2 people they knew him as did their children, some where along the way people for the most part quit talking to God, and as these people grew into the different races of man kind a and moved more and more awya from who and what god was, The Bible not being a diary or history Book does not tell details on it but we are given a brief glimpse with the story of Babel. There was always a Small group that kept to Faith in God and it was through one such group that God chose to reveal salvation. We must also keep in mind that god is out side of time and we have know way of knowing from his prepective how long these things were taking, just that they have happened.

Well, in a way he did. He appeared with Elijah with Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration:
Matt.17
[1] And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain apart.
[2] And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his garments became white as light.
[3] And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, talking with him.
Also Mark 9:1-4, same account.

Nothing needs to happen to us for Jesus to be present in the Eucharist. He just is whether we “sense” it or not. I think you are trying too hard. God tells us to “be still and know I am God” not “try as hard as you can to sense my presence”. It’s something like looking frantically for something you lost. You know how that is–you search and search but just can’t see the thing and then someone else comes in and lays his hand right on it?

Just go to Mass, hear the readings and take them in, participate in the corporate worship, and allow God to speak to you in his “still, small voice”. The term still, small voice comes from Elijah waiting for God to speak to him. There was a violent storm, but God didn’t speak out of the storm and a violent earthquake, but God didn’t speak in the earthquake. He spoke in the inner silence of Elijah’s heart. So, be patient and stop trying to force something to happen. God will speak to you when you slow down and wait calmly for him to do so. 🙂

This is where faith comes in. Faith is about having no proof and believing anyway.

Besides, it is wrong to test God, and basically saying, “Give me signs or I won’t believe in you!” is testing God.

Matthew 4:7 *Jesus answered him, “Again it is written, ‘You shall not put the Lord, your God, to the test.’” *
