The argument should be consistent throughout. Since Catholics claim so, that if Jesus is God and Mary gave physical birth to Him, therefore Mary is the mother of God. Then likewise, since you claim that God is your Father, then Mary MUST be your Grandmother.
This is an undeniable conclusion that has to be drawn if we go by the SAME queer logic that you have used in calling Mary as the mother of God.

Let’s flesh out the queer logic. If Mary is not the mother of God, then she is not Jesus’ mother. But this contradicts scripture.

No, I do not realise it as a fully legitimate question - no sensible person would.
The logic involved is not a whit queerer than the logic of Jesus’ claim that He and the Father are one, which leads to the strange seeming conclusion, as I have pointed out, that Jesus was in fact His own Father. If you can wrap your head around the latter concept, being answered as it is in the Mystery of the Holy Trinity, then surely Mary’s claim to the status of Mother of God should not require any leaps of logic on your part.
What is MORE bizarre is to deny Mary the title of Mother of God - as if Jesus was at any point of His existence, earthly or heavenly, somehow NOT God. As if His humanity can somehow be divorced from His divinity. If Mary were not truly the Mother of God than Jesus’ incarnation would be a hollow sham and farce, not a true enfleshing of the Godhead, and His death would achieve nothing more than the death of any other human being in salvific terms.

Blessed be Mary, virgin and mother. The Immaculate Virgin, Mary, the most Holy Theotokos, is the one who conceived, carried, gave birth to, nursed, and raised the second member of the Most Holy and Life-Giving Trinity.
God the Father is Our Father. He is the Father of Mary Most-Holy as well. His only begotten son, begotten before all ages, is Jesus the Christ. He is of the same essence as his father. However, Mary is his Mother and God the Father is the Father of them both. How is this possible?
Mary has a tri-fold relationship to the Holy Trinity; because she conceived the Child by the Holy Spirit he has become her immaterial spouse. She is Daughter, Mother, and Spouse of God, for all are one, yet the persons are three. United in essence, undivided in unity, yet three persons. For all are God, and all are Lord, but there are not three Gods and three Lords but one God and one Lord.

Your argument is with God, not Catholics. If Elizabeth can call Mary the mother of God in Luke 1:43 then who are we to question the Bible? Actually, who are YOU to question the Bible since we Catholics follow Elizabeth’s example. Elizabeth used the word “Adonai” which means Lord God so take it up with God… because frankly you bore us.

If Jesus was not fully man, it would not be possible to crucify Him. But being both Man & God does not imply that BOTH entities came from Mary. Bear in mind that the conception of Jesus was the WORK of the Holy Spirit. Of what contribution Mary truly made in that delivery is something nobody here can claim. It could be 10% or it could be 1%…or even 0%.

Mary was the servant of God. She was also the mother of God. She also had other titles, daughter, wife, etc. To ignore or deny one title simply because a person has many titles is a silly argument. Do you have a mother… sorry she’s not your mother because she carries the title of wife and therefore can’t be your mother. See how silly that sounds?
