Keep looking! They can be sneaky. Here in the States, every large city that I’ve been to had at bare minimum a pair of missions that operated out of other churches. I will say, however, that the Eastern Catholic Churches could stand a much more broad web presence. It’s nearly impossible to find information on most of them.

So I had this question nagging me for awhile. Let us assume that Protestantism (in any form) is not truly apostolic. But this leaves me with a problem. Both EO and RCC claim to be the true apostolic Church (or at least truer to the apostolic Church than the other). So my question is what are the argument which support the RCC over the EO and visa versa?

I didn’t read all the repsonses, so if this is a dulplicate, I apologize. Read a book called “A Popular History of the Catholic Church” by Philip Hughes. It’s the short version (1 book) of a 3-volume set on The History of Christianity. He gives an in-depth look at this topic, even in the short version. The downside is that the book is out of print, so you’ll either find one used/abused an ddirt cheap, or one well-preserved and expensive. Th copy I have is falling apart, but it’s easy enough to hold together while reading.

That I still don’t know who is the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. The EOC or the RCC.

I suggest you read the book, “The Russian Church and the Papacy”, by Vladimir Soloviev. It’s only 203 pages an easy read and very informative.

Well, by the same principle I’m trying to talk a guy on another thread into looking at the Episcopal Church–he’s decided he can’t be Catholic and now wants to be Unitarian.

But yes, basically I’m a shill for Catholicism.
