Your thoughts?
No one has “gay” people. That is a political term.Your thoughts?
And, no one “has” people; people (children, spouses, siblings, parents, friends) are gifts on loan to us from God.No one has “gay” people. That is a political term.
Im not offended by “gay people”Your thoughts?
I agree, I don’t exactly know what to make of it. Same sex attraction is not a choice, to act on such where the end is a homosexual act IS a choice. Same sex attraction is nothing to be offended by, homosexual acts are unacceptable. Its just that simple yet people who push messages like the one in question seem to want to muck it up to generate and perpetuate confusion.Huh? What is the context of this absurd statement?
If I were to take a shot in the dark, I would guess whoever made the statement meant it to be ironic, to make a point about “being gay” not being a choice. The statement is too bizarre to be effective though, in my opinion.

Given the state of the world today, though things are getting better, maybe yours is a good idea! But still, why do we have such a prejudice about what amounts to a condition as distinct from a choice? Then why dont we all stop having children? If all people are sinners.
Parents have children and some of them, about 3.5%, are gay. How is that political? No one has “gay” people. That is a political term.
Don’t you commonly say “I have/have not a fathe, mother, brother, sister child?” Why would you evade the question by false piety? And, no one “has” people; people (children, spouses, siblings, parents, friends) are gifts on loan to us from God.
For instance, straight heterosexual Christians?I am not at all offended by gay people, and I doubt many others are, either.
I just reject the premise that who one enjoys sexuality with is a category entitling one to special rights.

When did you stop beating your wife? Is this the same argument?Your thoughts?
“Gay” is a contrived term. People used to be named Gay at birth before the term was misused to cover for homosexual activity. No one is born “gay”. That is mantle they take up later in life as a political cause.Parents have children and some of them, about 3.5%, are gay. How is that political?
Hmmm… Honest and sane.Im not offended by “gay people”
However I’m offended by people who label others only by their sexual activities(which in the case of homosexual acts are disordered activities).
The People with homosexual tendencies are themselves more than the sum of their acts and have an inherent human dignity just from being(not from acting). As such I respect them on that basis while disapproving of certain acts they may or may not commit.
Given your “signature,” it is not surprising that you say what you do. How do you see that statement as mucking anything up? It simply points to the awkwardness of the situation in that those who consider homosexuality a deviance nevertheless have to deal with the fact that it occurs. Of course it is ironic. A the confusion, from my perspective, not being "gay,"btw, is that the confusion is on the part of those who militate against homosexuality as a condition of bith. And of course I agree wit the “do no harm” part of moral considerations, but generally speaking, people who have no homosexual family member or friend, or who are pious without experience, are very nieve and tout their limited perception of dogma instead of expereince and compassion. You may not be one of those, but I’ve encountered many who are simply dagmatic to the point of bing draconian. I personally don’t go for that.I agree, I don’t exactly know what to make of it. Isn’t that kind of a catch-all over-generalization? \While all societies have a criminal element that self-justifiy even the athiests I know aer very ethical people, some moreso thatn some f my Christian friends. That assesment just seems to broad and casual for what I see.:… The problem is main stream america doesn’t want to think ANYTHING is a sin.![]()
