Why would I have to prove it?
Interesting.

So you believe something that you can’t prove?

That’s a verrrrry, verrry peculiar paradigm for you to be espousing, after all of your previous posts.

So you have faith in something that you can’t prove.

:hmmm::hmmm::hmmm:

Source for Islam creating the Scientific Method, please.
I said by your logic.
But Alhazen (Ibn al-Haytham is considered the forerunner of the Scientific Method.

But in reality the Scientific Method is a combination of efforts so no the Catholic Church doesn’t get to claim responsibility for an achievement that was contributed to across generations and continents.

Is reading comprehension not a thing for you?
A very, very strong, er… faith in something is being advocated here.

Curioser and curioser…
I’ll take that as a no.

Source, please!
Very well I’ll do what you are unwilling to.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alhazen
Abū ʿAlī al-Ḥasan ibn al-Ḥasan ibn al-Haytham (Arabic: أبو علي، الحسن بن الحسن بن الهيثم‎), frequently referred to as Ibn al-Haytham (Arabic: ابن الهيثم, Latinized as Alhazen[Notes 1] or Alhacen; c. 965 – c. 1040), was an Arab,[8] Muslim, scientist, polymath, mathematician, astronomer and philosopher who made significant contributions to the principles of optics, astronomy, mathematics, meteorology,[9] visual perception and the scientific method.

LOL! He contributed to the Scientific Method. Means: it already existed. From the Catholic Church.

QED.
Well if you’re determined to believe that then I doubt any evidence is gonna change your mind.
So yeah sure, whatever makes you feel better.

Look, Winterwolf–there is no changing the fact that the Catholic Church was the patron of science.

We Catholics embrace knowledge in whatever form it presents to us–faith, reason, science, revelation, Truth Incarnate.

It seems a bit odd to squeeze one’s eyes shut to all other implements and say, “I’m only going to go with one tool–Science–just because.”

It’s faith-alone-based reasoning. And it’s a bit weird and inutile.

It’s like saying, “I’m only going to read things on the internet that are in iambic pentameter! Why? Because I’m not aware of any other text that are written in iambic pentameter. So there!”

I don’t think you even understand what reason IS if you have to twist the definitions as you do.
You’ve already shown multiple times that you refuse to even hear what my position is, instead you are content with forcing your pre-concieved notions upon me and pretending that’s what my beliefs are.

That you are getting frustrated defending your positions is becoming quite clear.

Take it down a bit, Winterwolf. You need to be here and in dialogue with knowledgeable Catholics.

But don’t get annoyed when your arguments are being refuted.

Let the seeds of truth be planted.

You’ve refuted nothing, if you want to pretend that you have then again feel free.
All you’ve shown is an inability to have an honest debate and an inability to see evidence unless it supports your pre-concieved notions.
So basically talking to you is pointless.
