That would honestly be fun. I think a lot of people that you butt heads with over issues would be perfectly nice to relax with over drinks.

You mean go to sea for fun? 🤣🙃 I used to do that for a living, so I think I will stay on dry land some more. Besides I think I lost my sea legs. ⛵

Wouldn’t the moderators be there to throw people overboard if they break forum rules? 🤣

In my wildest dreams, yes. But in reality, my traveling days are over since I am a caregiver.

Don’t be such a sea urchin, We will give you extra special service since you had to work at sea. Lots of upgrades and VIP perks for you. Come on.

Ummm, no, I don’t think so, they would probably be dissuading some of us “not” to throw people overboard.

They might confine people to their cabins for hours or a day for being especially obnoxious, etc. I would like to see that happen. 🙂

Actually, we should give them a break all together and just let them be people. I’m sure they need that.

(I am curious, sometimes, if any of the moderators have a normal user account, as well. It seems that nothing in the rules would prevent them from doing that.)

Have any of you heard about the story of the very old lady who lives year-round on a cruise ship? It’s cheaper than an old age home, fresh sheets, great food, and nice service. Maybe I heard the story on CAF, but it makes sense!

Anyhow, greenfields, I’ll go if you go! 😉

And you too, Steph, bring your sister! 😁

My bag is packed Daisy!🙂
I’d be worried if we were stuck in snow …and it could be a lot longer than a week.Maybe we should take some livestock on board like in days of old,a pig to slaughter,a cow or goat to milk …🤔

Ohhh. Ohhhh I know. Two of every kind of animal.

No, wait. That’s already been done.

As you were.

Oh yes. I would want to go to Rome, Padua, Florence and Switzerland so the ship would need wheels. I would kidnap Fathers M and J to give us fascinating talks about the faith (Father M was supposed to talk to us for an hour on the Sacrament of Reconciliation but it was so enthralling we kept him going for 3 hours over two evenings). I would also invite the Benedictines Of Mary Queen Of Apostles and The Priests to provide the singing. Each day we would have mass, the sacrament of reconciliation, spiritual direction, talks on different aspects of the faith, the chaplets of divine mercy and for souls in purgatory. Oh, and I would also bring Matthew Leonard and Scott Hahn for a spot of Bible Study and entertainment.

We would need to have top quality food, especially cake as we all need cake.

Count me in, not that you invited me. 😠🚬

Are we leaving the kids at home, Daisy, or bringing them along so we can use it against them later when they start whining about how we never let them get anything nice?

Uh yeah, no.
No way would I want to go. 🤣
What if people had to choose to be on the starboard (right) or port (left) side of the ship? Then people could just stay on their side of the ship agreeing with each other.

And those of us who see ourselves as more down the middle will take the suites. 😄

Sorry. I can think of loads of better things to do with the $$$.
