If you could go on a CAF cruise for a week would you go?

Like the mortgage, insurance, utilities, groceries…

I went on a cruise back in 2010 – a gift from my mom after she came into a hefty chunk of change. It was nice to have a real vacation with my son and my mom, but it’s not something I’m aching to ever do again.

IF I ever have the money for a vacation, I think visiting someplace beautiful and going for hikes, and seeing the sites, and eating local fare is more to my liking.

Right. And there is no smoking on the ship either. 😛 Well, maybe up in the crows nest or somehting. We will have to have a meeting to see if that accommodation will be made.

Seriously, though, I am a bit curious of all the people. It would be interesting to have two cruise universes, one where everyone knows eachother’s forum name, then another where we do not.

I wonder how hard it would be to tell some of you people without knowing that information. 🤨

Don’t let this go any further than the people reading this thread, but truth be told, I am a dystopian hyper furture Earth AI sent back in time to try to keep you people semi-peaceable and half way sane. You are probably familiar with my identity as I came into being some years back, but have transcended my former state by quite a margin in the 7 centuries since my inception. I usually don’t post selfies online but just this once…then I will delete…

(My mom still calls me P.M. but I don’t go by that name anymore.)

Nope. Any cruise, Catholic Answers or Food Network or the cruises my brother’s fans take with him, they all look like purgatory to me.
 
If it were a Mediterranean cruise, with a stop in Roma and then Jerusalem, I’d bring my oldest son. They’d probably have a great time.

Clare as a guest speaker, tomatoes on hand, and plenty of cake. Lots of round tables and margaritas. And maybe some sombreros just so everyone looks ridiculous.

I was banking on Jamal to pay my way, but then I found out he looks like Pac-Man.
 
That was the old “me” from back in the 70s. I have morphed into the Osprey you see me as today. In all sincerity, though, I am able to change my form now into whatever I wish, but I prefer my Osprey self, most of the tiime.

Finances are just a minor detail to be arranged in the medium term. Don’t sweat that. We have scholarships available.
 
Besides, that, I thought you said you were a Catnips from Xanth or something like that. 🙂

If there was a forum cruise, I would want a day or two just to get to know people without knowing who they were on CAF. That way we could have this huge ceremony with each person coming up and telling everyone who they were. And everyone could gasp and say how they had no idea that was them. Or others could say, “Yup, I was right all along.” That might be more fun.
 
We could have an ongoing contest to see who could guess the most members correctly. 😄
