If you could pick just one scripture passage that you felt virtually sums up the message of salvation (what it takes to be saved) which one would it be?

I tend to think it would be St. Matthew 25:31-46… (?)

I have it posted by my computer desk. It keeps me humble enough to realize that God is in charge and knows whats best for us all.👍

It is a long passage…
…but it pretty much sums it up! 😉

Truer words were never spoken. I have never found Him to fail to live up to these words.

If I picked up one verse from the Bible that best suits God’s Last and Final Message, I think it would be:

*“And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord:” *(Mark 12:29)

and this one as well

A law abiding Jew comes to Jesus seeking eternal life or salvation. In the words of the supposed author of the book according to Matthew:

*"And behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments."* (Matthew 19:16-17)

i appreciate this one myself… because i am very hated by many people in my life… (used to be in my life)… and also because it is comforting to know that Jesus was also hated… and therefore, knows how i feel… (how WE feel)… 🙂

no they’re not…

The Catholic Church is not wrong on any dogma… Jesus promised that the Church would fall to Satan…

(Individual Catholics… that’s a different story…)

Post #14 has a typo in it…

i meant to say that Christ promised Satan would NOT overcome the Church…

(that apostacy is not possible with God’s true Church)…
