I have been coming to these forums I have learned so much, or have been made aware of just how orthodox the Catholic Church here in England and Wales is. I can’t speak for Scotland and Northern Ireland. I don’t think that I have ever come across a cafeteria Catholic who is practising.
The Catholic Church in England is not as orthodox as you think. While we do not experience the same kind of blatant heresy and liturgical abuse that many Americans deal with, we have our fair share of dissenters. The difference between the Americans and the English is that the English do their best to conceal their dissidence. If you scratch below the surface, you will find many priests who disagree with Church moral teachings etc. I have personally heard priests speak against Humane Vitae in private conversation; these same priests come across as models of orthodoxy during Mass! As English Catholics, we have a lot to be proud of and a lot to be thankful for. However, this does not mean that our Church is not without problems. Based on my personal experience, I would say that the Church in America is in far better shape than the Church in England.

How is that our fellow Catholics are being led astray by the malignant enemy, the prince of lies, funny? How is the presence of a web page that is aimed at leading people away from the truth something to be laughed at?

As I was dressing for court this morning, I heard the word for this on a rerun of Boston Legal: schadenfreude…pleasure derived from the misfortunes of others.

OP’s post is an invitation to shadenfreude.

by the way, who ordains these women? was there a sympathizer among the priesthood?
They claim that the original group of RomanCatholicWomenPriests (the “Danube Seven”) were “ordained” by a legitimate, valid bishop back in 2002. His identity is kept secret to protect him from the repercussions of this action. In 2003, this “mystery bishop” also (in their estimation) consecrated a few of the women as bishops, so that they are now a self-sustaining group. They know that all of this is illicit, but they firmly believe that the “ordinations” are 100% valid, despite what the Church has said in this regard.

Yes, priests do have their personal points of view because they are human but what I’m saying is that they don’t announce it from the pulpit or post it in forums - or shouldn’t.
