Compared to Christian circles, they’re really aren’t any good Catholic study Bibles. I stand by that. The Ryrie is better with all its Protestant flaws than an NAB with some Jesuit commentary. Lol.
Yep - Not the expectant behavior of one who does what Jesus Teaches us.You do realize you’re insulting people here, right?
And I want all the pages waterproof and rugged enough for the outdoors! Hey, if I’m gonna dream I may as well dream bigI want this as a single volume, high-quality soft leather-bound with the high-quality thin pages with print. If you want to see it done right (materials/quality-wise), look at Zondervan study bibles.

Probably because it’s based on the NABRE.I find it interesting that no one has mentioned one of the best Catholic Study Bibles that’s usually the one recommended for academic courses at Catholic universities: the Catholic Study Bible by Oxford Press. It’s simply one of the most in-depth study bibles published today.
Which is the closest translation we have to the lectionary that the Church uses in the United States, the Philippines and a few other countries.PeterT:

Some early editions for the NAB (not the NABRE) came with premium binding and cover material. Sadly, it appears there wasn’t a large enough market for such a premium Catholic bible (at least in regards to the NAB translation) for bible manufacturers to keep offering such a Catholic bible. While we’re at it, we need some premium bible offerings. I’m talking thick paper, smyth sewn, edge lined, gilded pages, and goatskin or calfskin leather. I can’t find any, but the choices among Protestant translations are numerous. I have a Schuyler Quentel NIV in blue goatskin and it is incredible (pictured below). I have a NASB LPUT in calfskin that is built like a tank.
