Hey Guys,

I posted this question on the “ask the apoligistic” section, but no one ever got back to me. My question was simply this:

We have all heard about the Illuminati, Freemasonry, New World Order etc. etc. conspiracy. There is a lot of it. Now I personally agree with it.
  1. What is the Catholic Church’s stand on this conspiracy, the illuminati, freemasonry, and the new world order?
  2. Why is it that most prominent authors of this theory seem to be protestants, which, feel that the catholic church is apart of this conspiracy theory, as a “whore of babylon”, with its occult and corruption etc. (which I personally Don’t agree with)
Let me know please guys. Thanks
My Answer: I studied Masonry back in the 1990’s and know some of what they’ve done. If you look into more traditional Catholic sources, you’ll see that they reprint books from say the 1800’s and early 1900’s that were written by priests well thought of in the church that say masonry produced all the major revolutions in Europe since the French Revolution. These would include the French Revolution, the Revolution of 1848 and the Italian Revolution of 1869-70. The Grand Orient Lodge was the wing of Freemasonry that did the most damage by war. I can’t give you all the proof you need in this email but here are a couple of Catholic Books you can read: Freemasonry Unmasked by Msgr George Dillion, Behind the Lodge Door by Paul Fisher, Their God is the Devil by Paul Fisher, Secret Societies & The Kingship of Christ by Fr Denis Fahey and Pope Leo XIII’s Encyclical Humanum Genus. I think the Guillotine & the Cross by Warren Carroll shows Masonry started the French Revolution. I’ve read it but I couldn’t find it. These would be a good start. As far as the protestants are concerned, they always would include us in this conspiracy. What they haven’t studied is how the Catholic Church fought Masonry through the years. Masons also infiltrate other organizations like those to do with communism, atheism, secularism, etc. Hope that helps!

ChristianSurfer,

Thanks for your response.

Mason’s don’t believe that there are any “gray” areas when it comes to Freemasonry. Since we know that Freemasonry is not a religion, nor a substitute for religion, we are strictly a charitable/fraternal organization and all our members are very comfortable with this knowledge.

Also keep in mind that Freemasory is not only composed of Christians; we have people of many faiths who are members of our fraternity. In fact many of our lodges are composed of a majority of Roman Catholics; in my lodge over 40% of our membership are Catholic.

Some people may describe us as an occult; we are not. We have some grips and passwords so we can tell who is a Mason and who is not and that is it. No “mumbo-jumbo” as some in these forums have insinutated.

Much like the Knights of Columbus, our degrees are not open to the public; one must be a Mason to attend them and likewise, only men are eligible to apply for membership.

Its not the picture that many in here would like to paint of Freemasonry.
Well for lack of a better argument the only thing I have seen is gray areas by studying online which usually unrepresentable sources or talking to them myself which always gives me a different result. One mason I talked to said there is no levels and then later said there is only three? There is also lots of books written by masons themselves and this is usually the best source for any knowledge about what goes on or went on. These are often packed with esoteric value with questionable beliefs.

I realized that masons are not composed of just one religion and Ive read you have to be apart of a monotheistic faith. But like I said earlier you can do great things through the churches while promoting Christianity like mens group or feed the homeless. Can we atleast agree on this point? 😃 Hmm thats unfourtunate Catholics aren’t supposed to be masons don’t know why they fill up 40% 😦

ChristianSurfer,

Again, thanks for your speedy response!

The chances are that you might have encountered a person claiming to be a Mason; but there are numerous people out there claiming to be Masons when in all honesty they are not real masons. Some are clandestine or irregular and there are numerous clandestine lodges in the US.

Btw I do agree that each person can do great things through their house of worship, so yes we can agree on that point. That’s where I go for religion; just not in the lodge.

I’ve asked some of the Catholics in my lodge why they are Masons while the church prohibits it; most of them have told me that they do not agree with the church teachings on Freemasonry; furthermore all of them have told me that as Freemasons, they’ve found in their experience that everything the church has told them about the craft has been for the most part opposite. The percentages of Catholic Masons varies from lodge to lodge, but 40% at my lodge is probably about the norm for many lodges in my jurisdiction.

While Freemasonry realizes that Catholics are not supposed to join the craft, they allow them to as they believe that it is an issue between the individual and the church which should be best resolved between themselves.

I read somewhere that 96% of the largest news media conglomerates are owned by Jews, many of which are publically known to be Masons. If this is true, then who else but a secret society as such would have the motive and the opportunity to discredit the Church in the arena of public opinion?

Please don’t misunderstand. This is not Jew bashing. I am referring to apostate Jews who are masons that make decisions on the headlines we see every day. Just today there was a slanderous article about a Quebec Cardinal falsely linking him with sex abuse scandals because he is outspoken agasint abortion.

First it needs to be proven how many top news executives are high level masons making orchestrated attacks against the Church. What is needed are facts. Getting this information could prove to be difficult.

After all, we wouldn’t want to say anything that was untrue now, would we.

I can’t with any certainty say what the percentage of Jews are that run the major media, but I can say that the major media is playing a large part in the New World Order.

Almost all the heads of the media, including major network news executives, newspaper editors, magazine owners (think Time, Newsweek etc.) and movie and TV moguls are all listed on the Council Of Foreign Relations membership rolls. Now the CFR is supposed to be a “think tank”, but they are a think tank that meets in secret, supposedly so their members can talk freely. But when you have an organisation that boasts major CEO’s, bank execs, Federal Reserve officers, generals, politicians, media heads and other movers and shakers all meeting in secret to “discuss” issues such as energy, war, geo-political strategy, global isues etc., well excuse me for being suspicious! It is said that what is discussed at these meetings will become policy! And the media helps by only covering what this organisation wants them to. The media can shape and condition the population to the change the CFR wants to make.

Every modern day president has spoken at these secret conferences before they ran for office. They had to be approved by this organisation. They had to tow the globalist line that this organisation espouses. If you do not speak here, or at least write articles for them, you will not be president, period. Every presidents cabinet is full of CFR members, up to 300 of them in any one administration. Who are these unelected people and why do they have so much influence?

Make no mistake, the CFR is the puppet master. It is they that are pulling the strings of this government and it is they that are in control. They have all the tools. Carter, The Bush’s, the Clintons and Obama are just the puppets. The CFR’s globalist strategy has led us down the road to ruin and one world government is their objective…and I fear they are getting close to their objective…

Interesting thread.

More interesting stuff for this is do a Google search on “BP Illuminati cards”.

Romans 13:1-7

Submission to the Authorities

“Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. For he is God’s servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God’s servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience. This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.”

Amen to this :extrahappy:
I almost forgot this verse was in here! I think we all forget from time to time we still need to be obedient. Great place for this.

I will say that I have studied it for years but for lack of a better knowledge, because Ive never been a mason myself, I couldn’t give you exact examples. I don’t like to proclaim I know without giving hard evidence and there spawns speculation. But I do know there are plenty of Christian books out there who have been former higher leveled masons and other view points of Christians against Freemasonry. (not just Catholics)

So I guess I would advise you to use your own discernment as a Christian, read some of those books, and study ancient occult symbols and satanic symbols. If you see any of that run!!! :crutches:

And maybe read one of those Christian books with another view point, who knows. It wont kill you!

God Bless! 🙂
