It was forced on the people which is why we have had 35 years of turmoil in this country. It is the greatest moral issue to face us since slavery-if saying that makes me a fool so be it(I am a “fool” the same way Paul was)Sorry, I have to correct my own posting. I meant to say that legal abortion was NOT put in place by voters. Voters had pretty much voted into place legislatures which were more pro-life, with many states restricting abortion. It was courts which overturned voters and legislatures. That’s why voters are now stuck with trying to change courts–because we no longer get to vote on abortion.
I might add that being pro-life has generally helped candidates more than being pro-abortion when it comes to getting elected.
Too many Catholics give their representative a pass as long as he delivers the bacon and declares he is not in favor of killing his children-just favors the right of other people to use our money to kill their children.
Over 12,000 children have been slaughtered since this thread started.
