Sex is a wonderful, intimate part of a committed relationship, but it is only a part and not even the primary one.
Me picking on Karen:o

What makes what you said above true? Why are you ‘right’?

What are you basing this decision on?

Most likely because we spend much more time vertical, than horizontal.😃

Pretty much yeah, but you’ll have plenty of company most of us are getting the hot foot…

😦
What does god have against homosexuals?
You’ve read the posts and answers to this question many times. please go back and read them again and stop posting the same stuff over and over.

You’re just trying to be provocative for kicks, and it is tiresome and immature.

If you are an active homosexual then you must go to confession and be absolved of your sins and then sin no more. Homosexual acts are gravely sinful.

Teen4Christ? Now that you have the answers to your question…are you willing to “change for Christ?”🙂

gay catholics should become priests. at least that will encourage them to be celibate. 😉
Yeah, that has really worked out well in the past, what with the seducing of teenage boys and the scandal and what not. Great idea.

Please. if you can’t not live disordered on your own, the Priesthood or marriage isn’t going to change that.

I try to live a good christian life for the most part, so am I? I believe i’m not but I would appreciate your take on the matter:)
No, not at all. Your character and afterlife come the complete person, not sexual preference.

Ideally “active” is with one partner, but since civil unions and civil marriage are not widespread in the present (only selected areas), it is not looked upon as much.

But spending quality time with your lifelong partner of the same gender does not condemn you to hell.

So far nothing had proven effective in changing a homosexual’s sexual preference. So the only way for them to become an ideal catholic is for them to remain celibate. And its obvious that its a lot tougher for a layman (whether gay or straight) to remain celibate than a clergyman.

Assuming you don’t beleive anything the Church teaches, I agree…

Obvious to whom? Where did you get this factoid?

hi agnos–I don’t know if there is solid evidence to prove that…why do you say this?
