Sounds like something I’d see on facebook. Not deep, but meant to sound deep.

So… in other words “turn off your brain. Don’t think. Let God do your thinking for you.?

Methinks God doesn’t work like that. “Trust” doesn’t mean not thinking through / “verifying” things.

I agree with those who have said this sounds like a jarble of words posing as a “deep thought.” Did it come from Facebook?

I Corinthians 14:20 Brothers, do not choose to have the minds of children. Instead, be free of malice like infants, but be mature in your minds."

I John 4:1 Most beloved, do not be willing to believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are of God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world.

It would seems that we need to have some discernment and not take everything for granted. In other words we should use our minds by being prepared and trained to respond.

The context: the only way we can find out if something comes from God is to act.

Not necessarily. Daniel waited in the Lion’s Den. Jeremiah waited for rescue from the cistern. Even Christ waited in the garden instead of marching over to the Pharisees to be crucified.
