And the opinion of 2 billion other Christians, 1.2 billion Muslims, some 40 million Jews, a like number of Sihks that God is One, and God is a Person who is utterly different from created beings like you and me?

So, if truth is NOT matter a majority opinion why is it a matter of persoanl “happiness”, of validation

Lets say I am a diagnosed diabetic. Watching my diet makes me unhappy, taking insulin is PAINFUL and an expense–I do quite well eating what I want, not taking my medicine

All the way up to when I go into a coma and I wake up (if I’m lucky) with my leg cut off

Mr Pagan-

Chances are, you will not find the people that choose to taunt you on your forum here. The reason is that there is a higher likelihood that the people that choose to be on this website are more in tune with what it means to be Catholic. They are probably more apt to be more focused on how they themselves can become better verions of themselves and thus become closer to God. Individuals who practice in this way would know that nothing good will come from antagonizing Pagans on a website.

Just as I am sure you do not agree with the way every person practices what you practice, I have met many Catholics who, in my opinion, have missed some of the key meanings of being Catholic.

So not every person of any group is a perfect represententative of that group. Also, the bad part of a good thing does not detract from the good part of the good thing.

Bottom line… if your a heathen and a sinner…WELCOME TO THE CLUB, BROTHER! That’s how we all got here.

Mortis I tried to contact you by PM but you seem to have disabled that. What you have said borders on the insulting. Please refrain from such disrespectful comments. If you have a genuine question don’t ask it in such an accusatory and inflammatory manner.

This is ridiculous. You cannot throw every non-abrahamistic religion into one big pot, label it “paganism”, and then deduce from Aztec paganism to the mind-set or action of modern pagans who pratice e.g. Wicca or Asatru.
If a modern pagan should be somehow reliable for or connected to atrocities some other pagan of a completely different religion (!) committed hundreds of years ago, you should first accept responsiblity for any witch who was burnt, every heretic that was murdered, even some Christians that were murdered (caedite eos, novit enim Domimus qui sunt eis) or and by the as Muslims claim to worship the same god, let’s blame you for all the massacres in the name of Islam.
You notice the nonsense, don’t you?

I understand your reasoning that one sect of paganism is not responsible for the conduct of another. But individuals who identify themselves as pagan, in their zeal to defend their beliefs, make sweeping overgeneralizations such as, “Paganism has never killed anybody.” (I actually read that preposterous claim on a YouTube post).

Here are some wake up calls for you. One: your fantacy world of the nice and loving pagans is not what really existed. If you like human sacrifices and the total disrespect for life in general, then you are a pagan. This of course leads me to assume that you not only are homosexual without you even saying it but that you think abortion is ok and that you look to kill everyone that is not going to allow you to use them as an object for your own pleasure. That is what paganism is. Paganism is not a unique spiritual path, it is the path that all evil will eventualy take and it leads to satan every time.

Two: the truth exist weather you like it or not. The truth is Jesus in the Eucharist. You can lie to yourself, to me and to anyone else you want, but the truth is still the truth is still the truth. You say you have a dislike. I say you have hate. Hate is murder and I know exactly where that comes from. Satan was a lier and a murderer from the begining.

Three: It is not too late for you though. You need to learn about life in general but specifically about the Catholic church. The truth is willing to forgive you and accept you. I at least will tell you that I feel sorrry for you and don’t want you to go to hell. Just so we are clear, being a pagan is you telling God “please, please, send me to hell so I don’t have to ever follow your rules”. But I don’t want you to go to hell because no matter how naughty you are with the anus of another male that doesn’t belong to you, Satan can do a lot worse and he is just waiting for the chance. Learn about the Catholic church and when you become enough of a real man to understand and accept the truth, then you are always free to join and recieve forgiveness for the sins of you stupid youth.

No. I don’t notice the nonsense except for that which (quidity) or your posting. You smiply miss my entire point. Everyone is happy to point to crimes commited by Christains or Muslims, but we conveniently forget the crimes committed by pagans, whether they be frankish pagans barbarians, Aztecs, the cult Molech, or the death worshipers found amonst some Hindu sects. The point is that violence is not intrinsic to Christains or Muslims. Violence is a part of human history in General. Look at what the Godless communists did in the name of their ideology in the old USSR.
BTW, I think violence committed in Europe by Christians is more a result of are warrior type mentality that comes from Frankish culture, than it is a result of Christianity. The Faith was simply used as an excuse.
