Not everyone hears. And not eveyone has to do what you say, so you know what pagans think about Satan and hell? I’ll tell you, they don’t think about either, they don’t think that people end up burning forever for the slightest misdead, they don’t think everyone HAS to follow the exact same beliefs as them. It is in fact as far as I can see people like you that push people away from catholicism and other similar beliefs, not many people like intolerance and self righteousness

If the belief says what I am posting from the Bible, then they just don’t like the belief, don’t blame me for what the belief says.

All that does is tell me to abandon my beliefs which is hypocritical since you say no one should do that.

That is the stuff I’m talking about! the most recent posts, I am not some confused little child, how dare you. I am a man who has fought and run for his life. I have told my parents that I’m gay, it was hard for them but they love me too much to let that get in the way. When I told them I was Pagan however, my mother being Christian almost lost it.

You are not a man yet. You are a young man, but not a man. Being a man means taking responsibility for yourself and others, through career/work, treating others with respect instead of shoving Bibles up their ____ and making adult choices that don’t exist in a vacuum where you are the only one you think about.

I don’t have to tell you that she spent many a hour telling me how wrong I was, how everything she was taught told her to reject me, for being completely against her religion.

You do realize that this is a rather normal reaction for most parents whose children have left their family’s faith don’t you? She’s human too, just like you.

I swear to your God, the first one to say that this thread, or my religion steams from family/ life issues will get a bible so far up their ***.

Which brings me back to the part about being a man and not a belligerant 17 year old that thinks the world should revolve around them.

I am trying to stay civilized, but it is so hard when I am looked down upon and thought to be a child. I am not confused.

The days in my youth spent crying because I was gay and God hates fags, that, THAT MY FRIENDS was fear and confusion. The warm night and happy days under the glow of the Goddess are what I now have, comfort, Strength. I am no longer weakened, frightened or scared. This is me and I am Pagan. This like many things you cannot change and your condescending attitude and lack of respect for another person sicken me.

God doesn’t hate homosexuals. Well, shoving Bibles up people’s private parts isn’t very respectful either.

I regret that I would not like to be your friend. No personal offense to you but I don’t know you and I didn’t come looking for friends.

Yes, the pagans would accept you but I have been explicitly asked, and I agree with the thought, that I should not deffer to any of them. Also the friends I spoke of are regular heterosexual people at my school. They are not Pagan, they know me however and support me because they know me and the good person I am.

I break my code of ethics by being here, and making this thread. But AGAIN, I have my reasons, this is something I must do and endure.

So, you are making yourself and others endure these things for reasons which you won’t disclose and expect those same people to share in your sufferings? And you criticize religious people for not being 100% true to their faith yet fail to see that you are making the same mistake?

Just because you have a large book, doesn’t mean the word is absolute, the bible is written by men, therefore it is flawed, biased, and is not at least totally historically accurate. Besides, it is your book of faith, to me it is words with a silent and meaningless tongue speaking them.

It is because the same Devil you don’t believe in has stolen what was sown in your heart as in the parable of the sower. His best strategy is to convince people that he does not exist.

I think I even read a threat in your posts (about placing the Word of God, our Holy Scripture into a certain body cavity?) Thats just disrespectful. You claim that Catholics disrespect you, yet you’re responding with the old ‘‘eye for an eye tactic’’.

Calm down, and learn from everyone here. We actually have a number of ex pagans and a few current pagans. None of them are as pretentious, aggressive or inflammatory than you.

I’d first of all like to say there are differences between paganism and satanism, as far as I know pagans don’t even believe in Satan, you can’t really compare the two. Secondly, hello I’d like to say, thank you to those of you who have not reacted with hostility to Pagan Fury, to me it seems he came looking for conflict (but that might just be me) and another thank you to those who have not basically said “Thats wrong, our way is right thats that” I myself am not YET a pagan, though I will be. And let me say now don’t bother trying to “make me see the truth” or anything of the sort, I’ll believe what I want, you believe what you want, lets just leave that at that. Finally (sorry for the essay) I want to say, I was pleasantly surprised by how people first responded to this post, though things seem to have degraded now slightly thats all I had to say

In regards to pagan fury, I’m just praying for him now–whatever he’s coming from, there’s too much obvious pain there to expect to reach him through this forum. Maybe in a few years, itll be different–In any case, I recomend all fellow Catholics to pray to Our Lady of Guadalupe’s intercession for the conversions of everyone who falls into the error of neo-paganism.

Yes, Mortis, an error. There is an objective reality about the Supernatural, about the Ultimate Cause (God)–and neo paganism is the wrong path.

Sure, Mortis. I am Catholic & pro-life, & I have been on pro-choice sites where people have just all attacked me at once. It’s not pleasant. I don’t think anyone here means to attack you, though. They just have different views.

Ill just let you sit on the knowledge that I am 17, male. I have a boyfriend, whom I love and do naughty things to in public settings. I strongly dislike the Catholic church in that they have kept me down, and my strong Pagan ties have given me stablilty and strength through the hardest of times. All without God, Jesus, or Jehovah, bet you didn’t know that was possible.

I felt trapped by expectations and being told what a horrible person I was. I have morals and ethics, perhaps more so then a few Catholics, one basic golden rule that I take into account is,
