What makes you someone I should trust? Regarding knowing something about Truth™ that is.
Furthermore I have my doubts that we both can agree on a method how truth is established, meaning how it is decided whether something is true or false. Revelations and anecdotal evidence (like testimonies) is not good enough for me. The only theories about reality I accept are those that don’t fail to empirical tests and are capable of explaining something.
And, as you will surely know, even if we both follow the well accepted paths of logic, we still have to agree on the premises to draw objective conclusions.
Oh, btw, I think speaking of “the” truth as some kind of entity is a categorisation error, there is nothing such as “the” truth - an assertion may be true or false or undecidable. So, a sentence saying “that is the truth” really means, “that (whatever we are talking about) is a true assertion”. Or to get biblical, when Jesus says “I am the truth” that really means “what I say is true”, otherwise the sentence makes no sense whatsoever.
To make a long speech short: Is there anything you could really teach me apart from some fairy tales mixed up with historical facts I probably already know?

If I tell say that a painting is beautiful, is an artist insulted because I didn’t praise the artist directly? No. Not at all. I have praised his handiwork and that praise resounds back to him.
If we praise God’s handiwork, then that praise resounds back to him as the Lord who has done great things in his angels and in his saints. I think you have to be sorta of a Gnostic to deny this.
In fact, I believe that it takes away from the glory of God when we don’t praise his angels and his saints, for they are his master pieces.

One: I didn’t bash him, I gave him solid advice for improving his life. I give the same advice to you, become a Catholic and let Jesus heal you and go to heaven.

Three: Catholicism is the ONLY authentic Christianity out there. If you aren’t Catholic then you are at the best an incomplete or broken Christian, and at worste, as is the case with more then 50 percent of modern day protestants, no longer really a Christian. The original poster himself stated that he was 17 and not smart enough to know that homosexuality is wrong. So I corrected him as I will correct you as well.
Four: This statement of yours shows me that you know ZERO truth about the Catholic Church. This is a shame because even coming to this site tells me that you are not invicibly ignorant since you have adequet opportunity to learn the truth but you reject it. Your ignorance about the truth of the Catholic Church and the Truth of Jesus is yourown fault and no one else’s. You have even shown here signs of the arian heresy which more and more protestants are taking up everyday. This means that you are no longer a Christian. You need to go and learn about the Catholic Church so that you can have a conversion experiance and join. Then you will be building up the people of God and doing God’s will. Go read the Gospel of John (the whole thing not just three words at a time) and then learn about the Eucharist and you will be on your way to the truth.

CHRISTIAN is all-ecompassing, it includes roman catholics, protestants, evangelists, etc. I was raised roman catholic, and have turned CHRISTIAN. I follow my own path to Jesus. If the Torah can decieve, why cant the bible? “It came from God!”
…right into the hands of Man and Demon. Who are a)imperfect and cant fully, perfectly translate another language, and b)seek to take people away from God. By the way, without using ‘the bible says so’ OR ‘its just immoral’ explain how just homosexuality is evil.

homosexuality is contrary to the natural law. It is also contrary to what we believe marriage to be and what the family is.
If the Church taught that homosexuality was evil because it just said it was “immoral” or because scripture says so - then I wouldnt believe it. Instead the Church uses reason.

If we accept Jesus- Heaven (christian view)
If we get baptised and put ashes on our head, give up something for 40 days, and many other paganistic rituals, and also accept Christ THEN we get Heaven…ima go with the Christians and just accept Jesus. your way is fine, and Ive done it all. We have people here saying he needs to wise up and we have people saying his just fine the way he is and we have people talking about things he never brought up. God would be proud.
I think this thread should be closed. It is degraded ( not that it took much). We started by welcoming this young man and offering prayers to fighting among ourselves.

We can observe far more than our senses allow by using proper equipment. And our mind is not limited to three spatial dimensions plus time. We can calculate worlds with any number of dimensions we like.

You cant stop being gay. No one has ever been ‘released’ from homosexuality. a)media always lies b)again, you cant control it, all you can control is the urges. but in that sense, even heterosexuality is wrong.
