suppliant

My life is coming apart. My husband is very ill and is with Hospice. It’s a full time job caring for him and I love doing it but I am so worried because our finances are being destroyed. My husband trusts me to do the right thing but this is out of my control. I’m terrified we will lose all we have worked for. I am 69 and he is 71 so there is no making up loses. I can’t think of anything else but this and I’m going to have a breakdown. The economy is on my mind every waking moment. I’ve prayed to The Father and I believe He has answered me and told me not to worry but I cannot help it. Please make me strong so I can get through this.

Oh my…know that I will be praying for you and your husband.

I’ll be praying for a few hours in the Church today and will be thinking of you and praying for you. As a couple who lost our home due to my husband’s illness a few years ago, and also with no hope of ever affording another home, my heart will be very much in my prayers for you. May God give you peace.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is love and mercy itself.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

You have Prayed to the Father and believe he has answered you. Have Faith and Trust Him. you and your husband will both be in my prayers, God Bless

Do not fear. Place your trust in God.

Holy Spirit, we pray that you bring suppliant peace and the gift of your grace. Through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Our sister in Christ, take heart! The Lord knows your needs and has provided for them for almost 70 years. He will not forget you in your time of need. Quite the contrary, He is closer now than ever. Our Blessed Jesus advised us, with perfect Wisdom, not to worry. Saint Matthew, in chapter 6:9-13, first recorded Christ teaching the Lord’s Prayer. This is the perfect beginning of each day, calling down the Lord’s favor and bringing peace. Right after, in Matthew 6:16, Christ taught about fasting. Perfect timing for our current season of Lent. In Matthew 6:19-21, the Lord taught about storing treasure up in Heaven rather than on earth. Your faith has already stored up treasure for you which will last for all eternity. And, after these perfect lessons, Jesus tells us not to worry in Matthew 6:25-34. Combine these Heavenly promises with your prayers and ours, make time for a Rosary, and you will have much peace. And so we pray:

Merciful Lord, in answer to her prayers, You have spoken to our sister suppliant, and assured her of Your mercy. Kindly hear our prayers on her behalf as she struggles with worry. Graciously have You sent Your Son to atone for our sins and to restore our hope. We beseech you to fill her with hope in this time of trial. Grant her the Peace of Christ which every human heart longs for. Sustain also her beloved husband in his affliction and and send him healing according to your Perfect Will. Lord, we plead for help with her decision making and ask that You reassure her of Your love with each prayer that she offers. Father of all, we ask that you join our prayers with those of the Angels and Saints to form an unending petition for peace in her heart. We ask this through Christ Jesus, Your only Son, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

Heavenly Father please console suppliant for all she is currently going through and preserve her finances, in Jesus name, Amen.
