If I may ask, who is your patron saint? Regardless of who he is, study him. I would also recommend you study St. Augustine, if St. Augustine is not your patron. I advocate prayer to and studying St. Augustine quite frequently, and here is why:

If you are trying to get out of a particular sin, St. Augustine lived that.

If you are an intellectual, St. Augustine was one of the greatest thinkers the West has ever seen.

If you are struggling with Grace, St. Augustine wrote extensively on Grace, and as such, is the Doctor of Grace.

If you are a convert, St. Augustine was that.

If you love Scripture, St. Augustine loved that.

If you question some aspect of Church teaching, St. Augustine at one time did such as well.

If you love your mother, St. Augustine did that.

Do you recommend any books specifically?

I would start with the Confessions and City of God. The Confessions is very easy to find, and there are many very good English translations. I have the version published by Hendrickson Publishers. If your parish has a library, you may also look there. I don’t know about English-language translations online, but there are many Latin online texts by St. Augustine available for free (not much help if you don’t know Latin, I’ll admit).

I would advise to start with the Confessions, as that will enable you to get to know St. Augustine as a person, then City of God, as that will enable you to get to know his ideals more clearly. There are a few translations of St. Augustine’s letters against certain heresies, namely Pelagianism available on this website. I think this website also has an English translation of the Confessions and City of God.

(PS: The City of God in the original Latin is like the best of Mozart set to paper.)

Sorry for the double post, but I just remembered something:

Regarding St. Augustine - be vary wary about biographies. I have found some Protestants like trying to claim St. Augustine was a sort of proto-Protestant. If anything, I have found that he was proto-Tridentine. A few Orthodox have a less than favorable opinion of St. Augustine. Let’s just say he’s . . . controversial amongst those who pay attention to him.

Thanks ZDHayden, I’ve read a bit of confessions. I might pick up a copy of city of god.
Dear Brothers/Sisters,

After searching the internet for Noachide Judaism, I am getting interested into knowing more of it. The site said that it is not required for the follower to convert to Judaism. My question is, to my best knowledge, Judaism is passed by birth. Does Noachide Judaism means a mongoloid blood of mine can become a Judaism follower without becoming a Jew?

My second question, is it possible for a non Jew becoming a Jew?
Swariffin, one of the other reasons I decided not to leave was because I picked up a commentary and started reading it. The jews explain their religion very well. But it can take time to absorb the teachings of christ.

I recommend:

And the following online commentary:
