Why is Jesus is portrayed differently in each of the 4 Gospels?
The simple answer is, because each gospel each has their own distinct manner of presentation: they each have their own unique themes and characteristics. All in all, you have four ‘Jesuses’, all intriguing and distinct yet overlapping, each presenting the subject matter in their own way but at the same time providing an insight into the one Jesus. Why is Jesus is portrayed differently in each of the 4 Gospels?
In what way do you see him portrayed differently? I don’t see that myself. Why is Jesus is portrayed differently in each of the 4 Gospels?
We human beings are so limited that one author could not possible capture everything the God wanted to reveal to us about Him. Each adds a different perspective. Like the facets of a diamond, each perspective reveals something new. As John says, the whole world would not be big enough to contain the books if everything where to be written about Him.Why is Jesus is portrayed differently in each of the 4 Gospels?
