He extorted a self serving investigation of his political opponent.
And in actuality, it was an announcement of investigation.

Every post that you fail to supply a definition
Ergo …?
WHOLE THING IS A SHAM
If you mean this conversation, you have a point.
When you post parts of sentences or replies you are being
deceitful. No one understands the context.

Clearly the sham he is referring to is the sham of the
Schiff show in the Senate this week.

No! Wrong. An atheist might recognise or have remorse for a wrong done to another.
A Christian saying no reason to ask for forgiveness tells you he has no remorse or conscience on the subject
It isn’t clear to me that any Christian is required to ask forgiveness from you personally concerning their transgressions in life.

God alone (and those in his Church that he specifically designates) is the only one whose forgiveness is required. No where – neither in Scripture nor Church teaching – have I read that a sinner is required to prove to you their contrite heart, nor that they need to confess their sins to you to seek forgiveness.

The only requirement, as far as I can tell, regarding your forgiving others is where you personally have been transgressed – And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. – everything else is left to God.

I feel sorry for Judge Roberts having to listen to
this boring and repetitive testimony.
Actually, I was quite impressed with a snippet of what Nadler said yesterday. There are writings from early US history, Madison was one, and others who specifically stated that for a president to pardon members of his staff, those who could say something against him but are basically kept from speaking in order to protect the president, is in itself an impeachable offense.

This president has done the above with the entire executive branch. And with the Senate basically acting in Trump’s defense, they turn the constitution upside down.

It’s tyranny.
Far from it @OneSheep

It is clear to me that I have no idea what you are talking about.
Trump made statements about
A… Never having done anything where he would have to ask God for forgiveness.
And
B. That he basically never asked for God’s forgiveness because he never had reason to.
These were two seperate tv Interviews many months apart. Same answer.
How I became involved I have no idea. Maybe you mistook me for someone else.

And this comes in the very same thread where you challenge me that I am somehow wrong when I say that some are vastly underestimating how many people get their ‘news’ from propaganda sources and come on sites like this and Facebook to defend the indefensible.
Two pieces of real news today that impinge upon the impeachment saga.
  1. Presiding FISA judge James Boasberg wrote in a January 7 order that the last two FISA warrants on Carter Page (April 7, 2017 and June 29, 2017) were not valid. The status of the other two warrants is also in question. This potentially puts into jeopardy all the convictions that occurred as a result of the Mueller Special Counsel, if any evidence relevant to those convictions was obtained by surveillance (two step rule) as a result of those warrants.

  1. Eric Ciaramella – very likely the anonymous “whistleblower" who kicked off the entire impeachment fiasco – was overheard by a former colleague discussing with another staffer in the White House how to remove President Trump from office. This was just two weeks after President Trump took office. The other staffer was Sean Misko, who subsequently went to work for Adam Schiff. Both were angry over Trump’s new “America First” approach to international affairs. The reason we haven’t heard from Ciaramella (the whistleblower whose “evidence” lead to the impeachment hearing) is precisely because it is known that Ciaramella was working with a Schiff staffer before blowing the whistle.

Schiff was really really impressive
If you think putting on a 3 day free campaign ad filled
with lies is good. He played on emotion and was ridiculous I thought. He has a huge ego, but, unfortunately, for him, the ratings were not there.
Who wants to listen to the democrats bashing President Trump for 3 days. Honestly, who can look at Schiff for more than a minute? He looks like the Serpent from the Garden of Eden and sounds like the
Serpent too - lies… Very creepy. He was also very boring!!

Again, we will have to agree to disagree.

Will you be watching the Republican response tomorrow?

The messages, written in Russian, show Lutsenko urging Parnas to force out Yovanovitch in exchange for cooperation regarding Biden. At one point, Lutsenko suggests he won’t make any helpful public statements unless “madam” is removed.
“It’s just that if you don’t make a decision about Madam — you are calling into question all my declarations. Including about B ,” Lutsenko wrote to Parnas in a March 22 message on WhatsApp.
