About a cashless society, being identified by marks on the hand or forehead, etc. There are lots of other interesting tidbits in Revelations, and Daniel and elsewhere… Couldn’t tell you for sure if we interpret them correctly or not, thoguh I’m more inclined to agree with some of them.ANY technology can be used for nefarious purposes and abused.
As to your last sentence, what do you mean?
Not if you turn it off and leave it in your office.FYI - if you have acompany provided wireless phone you can be tracked.
Be prudent wabrams don’t do it it isn’t righthttp://pages.prodigy.net/rogerlori1/emoticons/scary1.gifBut the mark will be something that would even be familiar to someone of Jesus’ time.
Anyone who uses a cell phone can be tracked, whether you’re talking, have it turned on, or have it turned off but with the battery inside it. That technology has been available for years.FYI - if you have a company provided wireless phone your whereabouts, at least during business hours, are, in all probability, being tracked.
But the cell phone is not implanted in your bodyAnyone who uses a cell phone can be tracked, whether you’re talking, have it turned on, or have it turned off but with the battery inside it. That technology has been available for years.
Come on Lisa, you’re a very level headed person. No one should be jumping to conclusions. You’ve got to remember that when SSN’s came out 60 years ago, peoples thought that was completely outrageous to have a no. assigned to you, just like we think it would be outrageous to have a chip embedded in you. We shouldn’t judge the technology until it is ready to market and ALL the facts are out.But the cell phone is not implanted in your body

My thinking about all this is that one day chips will replace driver’s license, medical records, plus give you the ability if you choose too to keep your personal records (financial, etc.) within a chip versus what we do now. These ideas of using telepathy and opening garage doors I think are just tech geeks brainstorming ideas that will probably not see the light of day.The only chips going in my body are the kind made from sliced potatoes!
I don’t know, but somehow I’m thankful that I will unlikely still be alive when that day comes. My thinking about all this is that one day chips will replace driver’s license, medical records, plus give you the ability if you choose too to keep your personal records (financial, etc.) within a chip versus what we do now. Do you know how the abortion pill was tested? In a poor country under the guise of vitamins Our government sponsered it.I am level headed, but when I get a certain alarm go off in my soul I listen Don’t do it wabrams,it is already being done in Chinas military Don’t do it!Pray about it.Promise me wabramsCome on Lisa, you’re a very level headed person. I agree. Some people are seriously blowing this out of proportion.I am somewhat divided on the issue. The fundamentalists I know are screaming** ‘MARK OF THE BEAST! RUNNNN!!!’** so I tend to think it must be OK…anything they dislike (like the Church!) must be good!
Seriously, I don’t think its that big a deal. You can always smash the darn thing. I’m not afraid to remove mine if I have to…theyr’re sub-dermal implants…it’ll hurt like heck and leave a bruise, but you should be able to crush it by pinching the area its in very hard. I really want a national ID system, and national drivers license. They would help things tremendously. Implanted means no ‘sorry officer, its in my other pants!’ type lame excuses. Fewer fake ID’s, fewer criminals sneaking past police. I really don’t mind if they ping the chip for my ID…I haven’t done anything wrong. If things get out of hand…I’ll just smash mine and go underground. I’m not worried.
Pax Vobiscum!
