There is a cluster in China linked to this type of issue. The scientists who found it were doing routine swabs. They have been trying to get the message across for at least 6 weeks. To date there is no evidence of a single person on the planet being infected by food packaging (frozen or otherwise) or indeed by any type of packaging of home deliveries.
Naturally it is prudent to wipe any deliveries (which I do) but the risk is low. Also on surfaces the virus weakens until it dies and it is much less infectious before it has completely died.
You really should stop giving out medical advice like ‘the risk is low’. Maybe in 12 months that might be an accurate statement but right now, it is an unknown.
If the virus is on a surface, you touch that surface, pick up the virus, inadvertantly touch your face or an object heading to your face , covid says thanks for playing, lets party.
We touch our faces statistically 16 times an hour.
The virus does not survive long on copper for some reason.
