I suppose the bishops have decided it is better to baptize the children of same-sex or transgender couples than to not baptize them. I wonder though, how likely are they to receive an orthodox upbringing? Or even raised Catholic at all?
I wonder why these couples want their children baptized if they clearly do not live the doctrines of the church. Maybe it has simply become an essential cultural ritual. Which is weird, because it was only a score and two centuries ago that France tried to rid itself of the church entirely.
