I agree. I’m not advocating nagging in the least, but I’m also not advocating doing nothing and I also completely agree with the concept of planting the seed and shaking the dust from your feet. But I believe the problem lies in whether or not the seed has been sacttered properly or not, if the seed is poorly sacttered than there are many more that will land on rocky ground, if the message is poorly preached, than there are many more who will reject it.There are ways to draw people into the faith, but Our Lord himself was very clear on many occasions that nagging is not it.
St. Paul, too, was content to plant the seed and then let go:
