IN NEED of a MIRACLE to have SURGERY to be able to WALK AGAIN!

Hi.

I do not like to ask for help for myself but I really need to admit that I need intercessory prayers very, very urgently.

Due to a lumbar spinal injury last summer, I have progressed to the point of being unable to carry my own body weight because my nerves are dying. Nerves rule muscles and my sciatic nerve on both sides is very rapidly dying.

I am now only able to walk a few feet and soon having to be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life if I do not have surgery very, very soon.

My legs are all stiff and numb. The muscles do not work anymore.

I may still be in a wheelchair but at least with surgery we can prevent this damage from progressing any further.

My sciatic nerve is greatly impinged on both sides and I have been unable to have surgery because of my weight. I am quite overweight.

I was a candidate for bariatric surgery while this all happened but I lost my insurance the insurance company will not budge in helping me to have the surgery. Besides, it is a 6 month process to get it and there is just no time.

Every doctor says I needed surgery yesterday but no doctor so far will operate on me.

It has progressed to the point where I am unable to now walk – not because of pain (there is little pain) but rather because my nerve is so compressed and that there is so much nerve damage to my sciatic nerve in both my legs

As a result had to stop working and to go on welfare. I am very, very depressed.

I am seeing so many medical doctors including a Psychiatrist and a Psychologist for depression.

My prayer request is therefore for me. I humbly ask for a small intercessory prayer. I am going to teaching hospitals in Philadelphia on MONDAY and TUESDAY PRAYING that they will operate on me. PLEASE Lord Jesus. PLEASE.

PLEASE ANYONE who reads this PLEASE pray that JESUS will lead me to that surgeon who will be willing to operate on me and heal me.

I know that doctors can operate on me. It is just that they see me as a surgical risk because of my weight. Other than my weight I am very healthy.

A second request is that I will one day be able to walk again.

I want to serve God so much but I feel like such a failure anymore.

Praying for you and for your healing and that the Lord would RELIEVE the extreme Compression being experienced by the Lumber Nerve Roots of your Sciatic Nerve so that your Sciatic Nerve may stop degenerating and be regenerated and be brought back to full and complete, pain-free function.

Also praying for a healing of the spinal defect that is at the heart of this so that you will never experience this tremendous and debilitating pain again. and that as this is being healed, that the Lord will help you to lose the excess weight that is pressing down on your spine and the rest of your joints.

Almighty God and Father, you created and redeemed us so we may serve and please you in newness of life as your sons and daughters. Abba, Father, Please heal this dear child of yours of the severe impingement on his Sciatic Nerve which is taking away his ability to walk and causing him so much pain and suffering. so much so he can serve, please and glorify you, and that your Holy Name would be glorified even by those who do not not yet know your Name. God please help you. One feels so helpless before such great need, our God. Please God, grant that someone who sees VitoJoseph’s request and great need has the means and the will to help him. At such times one doesn’t know what to do, how to ask You with the same intensity as if Jesus were walking by VitoJoseph’s house and he called out to Him. Jesus, please hear VitoJoseph’s voice calling to You. I offer to God all Your love and sufferings and efforts, and all the prayers and goodness of the saints and all who love You. I wish I were so good or I prayed so well, or my heart was pure and Yours enough, trust enough, or whatever it takes, for You to rush to hear my prayer for my brother in his need, (for my brothers and sisters in theirs). I hope, and add my tears to the lake of tears already there for my brothers and sisters in my helplessness to help them. Merciful Lord, You conceived of Vito Joseph from all eternity as an irreplaceable part of Your divine plan for man. You have borne with him as he has suffered throughout this entire injury. As he lies awake, pondering the meaning of his life and Your direction for him, graciously send him an encouraging sign that will restore his hope. It is only hope that has carried him thus far, Lord, and may he always hold fast to that hope. Every cell of our bodies obeys your divine command, Father, and we beseech You to command that healing occur, so that his recovery may bear witness to Your Goodness. Mercifully send a doctor who is willing to risk this surgery, for the sake of Your Kingdom. Vito Joseph will abide by Your will, but begs your mercy and the intercession of many hearts. Hope itself was restored with the incarnation of Your Son O Lord, and so we ask that you incline Your ear to hear the intercession of Your Blessed Son Jesus Christ, Who sits at your Right Hand. May our prayers for mercy be joined together with those of the Angels and Saints to form a seamless petition for mercy upon Vito Joseph. St. Philomena is a wonderful miracle worker! I lover her so much and she obtains better outcomes in any situation than you can imagine!

Our Lady said that to Philomena nothing is refused…it’s true!

May 18-24, 2008, Page 5) that a man from Massachussetts (Deacon John Sullivan) was cured from a severe spinal injury by praying to the Venerable Archbishop John Henry Cardinal Newman (1801-1890) who was decared “Venerable” by Pope John Paul II in 1991.

His conversion to Catholicism in 1845 rocked Victorian England.

After becoming an Oratorian priest, he was involved in the establishment of the Birmingham Oratory.

He died in 1890 and is buried at the oratory country house Rednall Hill.

The Catholic Church has accepted as miraculous the cure of an American deacon’s crippling spinal disorder. The deacon, Jack Sullivan of Marshfield, Massachusetts, prayed for John Henry Newman’s intercession.

At his beatification ceremony later this year, John Henry Newman will receive the title “Blessed.” He will need one more recognized miracle to be canonized.

From the sound of that, it might not be premature to ask the assistance of Blessed John Henry Newman in curing your back. In this case, ask for what Deacon Jack got, a complete healing.

Blessed John Henry Newman, campassionate Father and Guide of the Second Vatican Council and of the New Liturgical Movement, Healer of those with Spinal Injuries and Deformities. We beseech you to intercede for this son and servant of God, Joseph, redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb and washed, regenerated in the Waters of Baptism and confirmed in the grace of the holy Spirit by a Bishop such as yourself. Intercede for him that he may have healing from the defect of his lower spine, restoration of the now ulcerated and dessicated discs and clearance of the nerve roots and recovery of all nerve function of his sciatic nerve so that Joseph will not only be free of pain but be able to walk normally and to serve, praise and glorify God. Please Intercede so that Joseh may be healed so that God’s Holy Name may be Glorified through his healing.

I know that’s asking or a lot - but that’s what the Deacon got - A miraculous healing. And, from what you said in your post, you don’t need surgery - You need a miraculous healing. It’s not selfish to ask for what you need.

Dear God. My brother needs one of your miracles. Please, God, with your healing power, touch him and set him free to walk again in your glory. Give him freedom from thepains he has, not only physical but also emotional. He has so much to give here on earth. I’m praying that our Blessed Mother Mary will intervene on his behalf to all of our Saints to grant his recovery.
 
Oh St. Anthony! Saint of Miracles! Saint of help! The OP also has need of thy assistance; VitoJoseph has need of this special favor, that you would help him to walk again.

I call on you to do justice for him at all times.

Therefore, console him in his present necessity and grant him the help that with full confidence I ask for.
