He thinks…He thinks…He thinks…
Teenage females tend to really mold themselves into what their bfs think or want. I think it has alot to do with our nurturing nature that we are very alert to the wants, thoughts, and needs of others.
But this is the exact time you need to find out who you are and what you need to become the adult you want to be.
And believe me, you never ‘need’ a bf to find out who you are.
Yes, you’re attached. That is what happens when you get close to someone, that does NOT mean, ‘It’s meant to be’ or ‘It’s right for us’.
It just means, that you are a human being that has a natural human reaction to getting close to someone else.
In anycase, you’ve already shown to yourself that you are susceptible and weak when it comes to common sense regarding him. Please don’t be offended, I’m not trying to be mean.
You met him without permission, which you knew was wrong. And then you were put in a position where you couldn’t or wouldn’t stop him from hugging you (both couldn’t and wouldn’t are BAD positions to be in).
So far, this attachment you have to him has made you have bad decisions.
Why?
Also, why are you hearing him talk about this now? Didn’t your mother say not to see him again? Why are you disobeying? Are you in charge of raising yourself up? Does your mom not have a say in this?
Sound harsh don’t I. Maybe you think I’m just an old fogie that doesn’t know what it’s like to be a teenager nowadays. Well, I’m 28. Probably old to you but it’s still close enough to know what it’s like.
Respect your mother, do as she says. Don’t try to make, what you two did wrong, as misunderstood by your mom because she’s divorcing.
You may think he’s changed, but if he really did change he wouldn’t be asking you to disobey your mom. see?
