Then if you monitor their statements, you would see he just purchased porn.

just go to Google and type in something naughty then click on images. so much free porn it’ll make you sick.

Honestly, while I’ve thankfully never held this particular magazine in my hands, I would have to think, at least for the past decade or two, the articles HAD to be a big part of it. Think about it. With pornography of all sorts available free of charge on the internet at any time… there’s no way the magazine has survived this long if there wasn’t some additional appeal. The articles had to be part of it… no joke.

For what it’s worth, I don’t think freedom of speech is a Catholic value. I don’t think the Papal States had freedom of speech for most of their history…

And I didn’t say it was. We are not given the power of speech to say anything we feel like saying. We are given the power of speech to glorify God, proclaim truth, teach wisdom and useful knowledge, and to say things that are edifying. We have no right to use speech in an evil manner.

I was referring merely to the First Amendment and how many things we might find sinful and distasteful — including porn — are largely protected by it. It has to be some pretty vile porn (that which offends “community standards”, whatever those may be) or, God forbid, child pornography, to run afoul of the First Amendment. The Constitution and Bill of Rights are not holy writ.
