sigh

Not that lucky I guess.

They didn’t have a bed available for me.

I knew they had a couple of inductions already scheduled and a C-Section and my midwife said she was still going to try and fit me in.

Ultimately…they were a little too busy today.

So, I’m still pregnant. 🤷

It only screws up my babysitting schedule. Not to mention the fact that I’m really ready to meet this little one!

Looks like Wed is going to be the day.

We’ve spent the day hanging out. I went to daily Mass with the girls and that wasn’t too bad. They weren’t on their best behavior but I still got communion…which I really needed.

So, I’ve been laying low and trying to relax, nap and get some things together.

No baby yet!

Bless your heart. Go to bed and rest!

I look forward to hearing the good news! Prayers going up.

Wednesday is the Feast of St. Martha!
Martha’s great glory is her simple and strong statement of faith in Jesus after her brother’s death. “Jesus told her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?’ She said to him, ‘Yes, Lord. I have come to believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, the one who is coming into the world’” (John 11:25-27).

Take heart! May this child be proud to proclaim Jesus Christ!
Love you!

Ugh, I’m sorry. 😦

Might I suggest spending today with your feet up as much as possible, while consuming an inordinate amount of chocolate? I’m pretty sure it’s medically indicated at this point. 😉

Oh…I totally went out last night and bought all of the ingredients for a hot fudge sundae…and the more expensive stuff I would never buy.

It was delicious and I’m making another one after I have lunch. 😃

👍 My name is UbiCaritas, and I approve this message. 😃

When I was 8 months pregnant with DD, DH had to leave the country for a month-long business trip. I didn’t know anyone in my area, and was lonely as could be, plus big and uncomfortable. Nesting could only keep me so busy. That last week, I’m pretty sure one of the checkout clerks at Kroger knew me by sight as the heavily pregnant lady with the Haagen-Daas habit. Being a wise man who, presumably, wanted to live a long, happy, and unmutilated life, he said nothing beyond “Have a nice day” each evening. 😉

Great! And the baby will enjoy it also. 🙂

I think there is a very good reason why all kids love ice cream so much!

All of my kids love it!

At least my baby is getting the good stuff!
Yes!

Long ago when I had my pregnancies (8)I used to get up in the middle of the night and go downstairs to have some ice cream with chocolate sirup.

I had absolutely no pregnancy-induced cravings of any sort, either time.

I can’t decide if that’s a pro or con. 😃

This isn’t much of a pregnancy craving…just an “I deserve something and since I can’t have a cocktail…I’ll go with ice cream instead”.

I didn’t have cravings with these last two pregnancies…but my first?

Hoo-boy! Cravings and aversions all over the place. It was insane.

Girl, if you’re having a baby tomorrow, I say a cocktail (as long as it’s mixed appropriately) is totally legit.

Maybe combine them and have a rum and coke float. 😛

Ok,

I had an induction with DS and it was amazing actually. They gave me the epidural before inducing, and the entire thing took about 7 hours start to finish, and was about a painless and easy as you can make labor and delivery. Seriously, if I was ever going to have another child (which we aren’t) I would demand an induction.

It’s nothing to worry about.
