No he hasn’t. To my knowledge he has never directly addressed the question of his own sexual inclination. We can only infer.
There is no reason to “infer” that everyone who supports the gay community is also gay.
Perhaps a better – and more truthful - - response than “we can only infer” would be “there is no evidence to indicate this.”

I suppose a straight priest could also suggest re-writing the Catechism so that homosexual orientation is treated as equal to heterosexuality…express a desire for same sex partners to kiss each other in Mass…show unwavering support for dissident groups seeking to redefine Church teaching on marriage and family…indeed, anything is possible.

I have noticed talk about a heavy drinking culture in a wide variety of places. From some of these threads and in the Chronicles of the Catholic Church in Lithuania. They didn’t always talk about homosexuality, but with a lot of heavy drinking comes behaviors that one would not do if one were sober.

A recent National Catholic Register article makes the point that it was the Church itself which was instrumental in overcoming child sexual abuse which was common in the world of its founding. Now, it seems that the same Church or at least part of it is bent on reversing course and re-establishing the pagan culture in which such abuse was just a normal aspect of life.

“This is a massive, massive crisis in and for the Church because a deeply-embedded worldwide homosexual network among our priests, bishops, and cardinals is actively engaged in bringing about the full de-Christianization of the world by preying on boys between 12-18, literally recreating Greco-Roman sexual culture in our seminaries and dioceses. If you want to know what it was like in the sordid sexual days of ancient Greece and Rome, just read the Pennsylvania Report.”

Children and underage teens aside, if consenting adult clergy and clergy to be want to engage in sexual activity among themselves, who am I to judge?
