Our Lord will overcome this and all other heresies in His time.

In the mean time, I pray for all who choose to ignore His truth.

Oh, but the women who attempted and continue to pretend to ordination have “rejected” their excommunication. They continue to call themselves “Roman” Catholics and insist that they are loyal members of the Church.
Yeah, and the mentally challenged kid I grew up with called himself a “cop” and insisted he was a real member of the NYPD.

The really sad sad part is that somewhere, deep down, they know they are wrong but are not strong enough to admit it.

Last year Toni Tortorilla disrespected Holy Orders, and this year her partner Ruth Boeski joined her in offending the Sacrament of Holy Orders and Archbishop John Vlazny within the Archdiocese of Portland, Oregon.

Intentional Disrespect of the Sacrament of Holy Orders: Roman Catholic Women Priest Sect Says Two Ordained in Archdiocese of Portland, Oregon
One of the problems is that vestments are so easibly availiable on the internet. I think that priest should have to order them through the Bishops. This has nothing to do with it really just giving my voice.

I love your signature, by the way.

I remember hearing Fr. John Corapi saying:“If you ever walk into a Catholic Church and see a woman “Priest”, …RUN, far, far away.” :amen:

All you need to obtain vestments is a sewing machine and a lot of yardage. None of the patterns are difficult to imitate. Even if they were, there are many talented costumers who are happy to help anyone with whatever he or she can dream up. Compared to what they can do, vestments are a lay-up.

You could make the vestments as complicated as what the Swiss Guard wear, and nobody who thinks she can become a “Roman” Catholic priest over the objections of canon law is going to be slowed down by that.

Respectfully, I disagree, totally.

Nowadays, people can counterfeit money, imitate law enforcement officers, make phony ID’s… I’m sure that anyone with a sewing machine can make vestments.

I’m not that handy in the sewing department, yet in the late 70’s I hand-sewed a chasuble and stole set as a gift for a close friend.

With gifts in mind, how would anyone purchase vestments as gifts for their ordained friends and loved ones?

Anyone so intent on flagrantly disobeying HMC would either make them, or somehow obtain them even if they had to be ordered through the Pope.

These women claim loyalty. That is absurd. If they were loyal, they would respect the magesterium of the Catholic Church like we are all called to do. My question is how do these women expect loyalty to them when they themself rejected the authority of those bishops over them. Its almost like I wont be loyal to the magesterium, but once I become magesterium, I will expect loyalty. Its very hypocritical. If they are not obedient to the teaching authority of the Church, how can they expect obedience to them??? Ordination is not a “right”, It is only for those that God has appointed in his own wisdom and omnipotence.

You are so right!

You know, I’ve never made it a secret that I would like to be ordained… and I could have if I became an Episcopal… or did as these women did. However, I choose to remain loyal to the one true Church. If the Magisterium ever said I could be ordained, then that would be the only way. I wouldn’t so much as attend a so-called “Mass” by one of these “ordained” women. Obedience to the Church is so much more important.

Obedience to the Church is what has made many great Saints. I’m sure that if St. Pio had not been obedient to the Church, especially through the times when he was not allowed to counsel people, hear Confession, say Mass in public, etc., he would still be Padre Pio, not St. Pio. Of course, St. Pio is only one of many examples.

If obedience to the Church has been instrumental to holiness in the lives of our greatest Saints, then that’s what I choose also.

Why bother with ordination as a priest?

Why not just elevate yourself to pope?

What an honest, open, and obedient way to be.

Bravo (brava) Gemma Rose! It’s good to have such women around. I am close to some extremely liberal, feminist nuns and they show little respect for the church and less for the priesthood. I was not surprised to find that many of them are “couples” and wouldn not be at all surprised to hear that some of them have “been ordained”.

The church’s worst enemies come from within!

Thank you so much, Max37. 🙂 You are, I think, the only one who has never mocked me for the desire in my heart, which if I’m not mistaken, was shared by St. Therese.

She lived a life of humble obedience and is now considered a great Saint. Will I become a Saint? (Me? :rotfl: )

Who knows - but I can desire that also… as long as I don’t proclaim myself one, I think I’ll be okay. 😃
