Heavy.com did a good job of putting together the full story on the guy. He had worked for 3 different senators as well as Rep. Lee. Also worked in other staff positions on the Hill, and for a PAC. He was no intern, he was a Hill rat with about 10 years of experience. I wouldn’t be surprised if somebody was paying him, though it’s also possible he thought he was somehow fighting the good fight or was out for revenge on someone or was even mentally disturbed.

Informative link, thanks. You can’t survive 10 yrs in DC without getting a salary.

This ‘Fellow’ thing is bothersome, it allows lobbyists to place their own people behind the firewall. They are free staff for representatives who then are aware of all office happenings and can advise on policy. They are nothing but spies for their real employer.
