Interview with seven social sins?

It seems that all the news services mention an interview where a Mnsgr. gives a list of seven new deadly sins. Most news services have taken this to say that the Vatican has “created” 7 new MORTAL sins, which, after a chat over lunch with some Catholic friends, seems to have led many people down the wrong path of understanding sin.

It would be great to have an actual “primary source” to read and use as the focal point for discussion.

Does anyone have a link to the actual interview, or an actual pronouncement, or something official from the Vatican / Apostolic Penitentiary so that I can get the facts, rather than the spin?
