STATING THE OBVIOUS: PRESIDENT BUSH notes that the Iranian elections are bogus. But there’s a value to stating the obvious sometimes.

I doubt they will expect any military intervention by us. We are keeping the pressure up. We will support from affar, but I don’t think anyone expects us to use our military (nor do I think the Iranians want us to).

The Iranians know they need to reform their government and they know that they can count on Bush to help diplomatically.
