Honestly a number of things could have gone down here.
A: He has a porn addiction. Lots of people do. He is human, as are we… and if he does have a porn addiction he clearly needs help overcoming it and we cannot know if he is receiving help or not from this side of things.
B: Someone set him up. It’s possible someone had access to his USB drive and planted those photos there. I once had a kid put porn images on my computer so it’s entirely possible. USB drives are usually not password protected.
C: It wasn’t even his USB drive. Perhaps he borrowed it from someone else for the purpose of the slideshow.
I think people need to calm down and stop casting stones.

I know, which is why my initial reaction would be that he was set up. This is not how USB drives work. Pictures don’t just “pop up” once you put it into the computer. It smells of foul play. I hope the Bishop is investigating.
Actually, yeah, they do. Many computers, especially those running a Windows OS, automatically detect the content type of a flash drive upon insertion. Many times, Windows will let you know it detected a certain type of media and give you choices as to how to proceed, but many other times, Windows will simply open the flash drive as a folder – and if it detects predominantly picture media, it may increase the thumbnail size such as that if a priest insert a USB stick filled with porn, a folder would pop up with plenty of large thumbnails to clearly display the contents of the files.This is not how USB drives work. Pictures don’t just “pop up” once you put it into the computer.

B is still a possibility. He could have put the presentation on the USB a month ago or more, and someone got a hold of it between then and now.The thumbnails of the images could have been visible when he tried to access the power point. If so, the priest should have seen them when he transferred the power point to the USB, so A and C are out, B is a possibility, if someone had access to the USB between uploading the power point and the presentation, or D: he grabbed the wrong USB, either from himself or another priest.
Where did you hear that?Well, we will never know. The laptop has… disappeared… from the priest’s house… reported stolen when nothing else was touched.
