Thank you innocente for emailing the office of the Cincinattie archdioces chancellery.

Please let us know how it works out.

Putting this charlatan in his place is of great interest. 👍
He’s replied saying: “Thanks! It quotes the Chancery Office. Funny because I never commented and I am the chancellor and this is the first I heard of this.”

So as we thought, itt23r invented the reviews and is a fraud.

Thanks, Innocente.
I’ve suspected that was the case since itt23r’s preposterous claim in post #8:
should also probably add that the book has already been reviewed by 5 Catholic priests and one deacon. None found it to be blasphemous. In fact, the deacon thought it to be on the same level as the Summa. And of the 5 priests, four penned rave reviews which are found on the website.
Well, I knew no priest would put his name and approval on such a travesty of logic. So I got him to give the website address in post #12 www.thegospelofcreation.com

After seeing the website, I couldn’t believe the nerve of this guy. It became my mission to expose him. Joan of Arc told me, “Get this guy, Norman”.

To show how ridiculous this guy is…

Here’s the list of claims he makes about “what the 23rds rule reveals”
What does the 2/3rds Rule reveal?
Or maybe an easier question is what doesn’t it reveal?

Of the great mysteries of science it can tell us (among many other things) …

the exact age of the Universe.
the age of our solar system.
conjectures on when, where, and how life began.
the rationale behind the creation of dinosaurs.
whether or not our hominid ancestors ever lived in water.
when humans first began to talk and the motivational forces that made us smart.
why the neanderthals disappeared.
when the first humans came to North and South America.

And it also gives us its own versions of the periodic table and the grand unification theorem.

Of the great mysteries of the Old Testament it can tell us (among other things) …

the true length of each Day of the 6 Days of Creation.
when Adam and Eve and all the early patriarchs lived.
the time of the great Flood and the primary message of Noah’s Ark.
when the first draft of the Bible was put to print and when it was completed.
what happened to the lost tribes of Israel.
which OT books belong in the Bible
and which text of the Old Testament is superior to all the others.

And of the great mysteries of the New Testament it can tell us (among other things) …

beyond doubt that Jesus Christ really is the promised messiah (the Word made flesh).
whether He was always destined to come to us or whether it was our sin that brought Him.
whether there is one branch of Christianity that is superior to all the others.
what happened during Jesus’ hidden years
and why did He have to die for our sins.

Along the way it also provides us (believe it or not) the exact dates of Jesus’ conception, birth, baptism, death, resurrection and ascension, John the Baptist’s conception birth, death and the onset of his ministry and Mother Mary’s conception, birth and dormition and the Holidays associated with all of them.

But it doesn’t stop there. The 2/3rds Rule also has an enormous amount to tell us in the area of moral theology by giving us God’s perspective on pretty much every controversial subject debated today, such as …

abortion,
American exceptionalism,
contraception,
cloning,
embryonic stem cell research,
capital punishment,
gay marriage,
environmentalism,
and hedonism,
just to name a few.

And if this was not enough for a finale it also takes on the great eschatological questions …

Are we living in the end times?
and is Jesus’ return imminent?

So it is really not an overstatement to say that the 2/3rds Rule really delivers. And the answers it provides for most of these questions are definitive, leaving little room for further debate. The potential then for world wide evangelization is obvious. And all that remains is getting the word out.
This guy needs to be put in an asylum. :bigyikes: :newidea: :juggle: :sad_bye:

OP - on your website you have a section for what is the 2/3rd rule - but you dont actually say what it actually is 🤷

The title of your thread caught my eye because it would be something I would be very interested in, but Im afraid you lost me when you said in one of your posts I would need faith to believe your irrefutable proof for the existence of God.

Kinda shooting yourself in the foot, isnt it??

Now there is an excellent point! So if what you say is so, this claim for an irrefutable proof falls back into the category of all the other “irrefutable” proofs. Oh darn, back to square 1… 🙂 And back to the tried and true non dualists. OP should have read Ken Wilber first.

Hi folks;

Guess what. The person you spoke to at the chancery office is new. I submitted my manuscript to them 2 years ago and the person who was in that office then has now moved on to other things. So of course this new guy is not going to know anything about it. He’s only been there a few months! Besides that when I submitted it I did so under its working title at that time which was not yet “The Gospel of Creation.” So keep on digging. You aren’t therre yet.

For my part I have been touch with the other three reviewers and warned them of the hate and difficulties that might be coming their way and alll three of them have sent me e-mails saying they stand by their reviews.

So there you have it. On the one hand you have the testimony of three Catholic Priests who’ve actually read the book and have offered positive feedback on it (four actually since the one from the Archdiocese is still valid). And on the other hand you have the criticisms of those who haven’t read it.

Which side sounds more credible?

This guy has a magical gift for excuses:rolleyes:

What immediately becomes problematic is that setting faith to this kind of rationalization is thoroughly gnostic, which goes against so much of Christ’s message that it is hard to know where to begin.

When you divorce Christ from history, you lose all meaning because his death proves the singularities (most apparently birth and death) in our lives are just that, and not the reoccurring patterns of the pagan world which ultimately justified their inability to stop periodic rallies of violence with the understanding that nothing really lives or dies.

And justifying this work by citing a few priests, whether they are true citations or not, is unfair and tendentious. You are preying on people by using their vocation as justification of your proofs- priests who are not trained mathematicians (or whatever other disciplines you claim your work covers.) You could find a priest who may agree to anything, that doesn’t make it right.

I’d be more curious if the book was submitted to a secular institute to see how convincing these proofs are. If they are that great, they should be peer-reviewed and not thrust upon an audience in a manner that suggests the author finds religious people very gullible and easy targets.

To angel

the book is available at www.thegospelofcreation.com. and it is unfortunately pricey right now. A better buy is the introduction which would let you know if you would be interested in buying the bigger book.

And as regards having the book peer reviewed. That route was suggested by the Archdiocese. And it was tried. But the two Journals it was submitted to didn’t want to touch it. So out of frustration we’ve decided to let the public peer review it instead. Raise it to the moon or tear it to shreds, either way is fine with us. Our mission is to simply to get it out there. And quite frankly, having studied this discovery now for 19 years and not found any flaws in it I am confident it will stand on its own two feet once it is known. and it will need no further help from us.

To alotlessthumb

Addressing some of your other criticisms.

Gnosticism is hidden knowledge reserved for an elitist few. The 2/3rds Rule is nothing like that for it is knowledge meant for everyone and it is so simple that an elementary school education is all that is needed. Can you divide and multiply by three? That’s it. Hardly the torturous path to enlghtenment that the Gnostics imagined. But what else should be expected from a time schedule created by the Word?

As for the divorcing Christ from History I don’t know where you are coming from there for the 2/3rds Rule in fact connects Christ to every aspect and milestone of history from the Big Bang to Calvary.

And I agree it is problematic to rest it all on the shoulders of three Priest’s who may or may not be qualified to judge the book. But we’re only in the initial promotions phase. More prestigious reviews will certainly be added. But I will say this. the Priests selected for the reviews were men I considered to be of great faith and all three gave a thumbs up. In fact I have not gotten one bad review from any member of the clergy that has actually read the book.

So JD if the literal translation of Colossians 1:23 is “was preached in all the creation that is under heaven” How can you conclude that it was one or any of the NT Gospels since none have accomplished this feat even to this day? I would counter that the only gospel capable of reaching into the entire created Universe in Paul’s day (or ours) would be one thqt is interjected into every molecule of Creation. Much like the internal Law that is inherent to all living humans that Paul speaks to us in Romans, I think that it is a better interpretation that this gospel he is referring to is more of a universal gospel. The same as is found in Psalm 19:1. This gospel would certainly not countradict the other four but it has been given us all the same.

God bless.
itt23:

The world population, in those days, was only about 2 hundred million. And, virtually all of it was in fairly close proximity to the fertile crescent. There weren’t any people any where else that needed to hear a gospel! Only bugs and animals. So, the majority of the world would easily have been introduced to one or more of the existing gospels within a half century after Christ’s Resurrection. I’m not arguing with you: I’m looking for substantiation. I’m looking for rationale.

So, your rationale is that “all of creation under the sky” is to be interpreted as referring to the entire universe. but, that’s quite a bit different from the words. why do you think it should be given that meaning?

God bless,
jd

When the four priests reviewed your theory, were you calling it the Fifth Gospel? There are theological problems there. I do not think that the Church will canonize your gospel nor ever proclaim a Fifth Gospel. The canon is closed. I don’t think I will ever see a deacon walk up to a pulpit holding high the Gospel according to Victor. It is simply not going to happen. So, why do you equate your theory with the four Gospels? I find it disrespectful.

To JD

To all creation under the heaven certainly does evoke to me anyway a universal aspect. Just as it says in Ecclesiates “there is nothing new under the sun.” has a universal aspect. Besides this we also have to see the Scripture from the Holy Spirit’s perspective. so whether or not Paul may have thought he was addressing just the Church at his time,it still reads to me as though it is addressing all of the created Universe. But that is just my interpretation.

To Abba

I agree. there is no possibility that this book would ever receive canonicity nor would I expect or want it to (as bad a writer as I am). And there are those who will be able to do a much better job of it than I have when the Church finally gets around to studying this.

Nevertheless I still believe it is appropriate to see the entirety of Creation as a true Fifth Gospel written lovingly by the Word and my words in attempting to describe it do not come close to doing it justice.

Peace.

The chancellor of the Cincinati archdiocese has already said he never heard of this book,

but itt23r lies and says the man is new.

He will always have another lie to tell to cover himself.

Anybody who still conducts a debate with this liar is a pawn. You’re doing exactly what he wants you to do.

By the way,

this clown would be banned from catholic.org forums in five minutes. :takethat:

I’d like to ask everyone on here to take it easy on the OP. Although we have no idea if his book is legit, we also have no idea that it isn’t. It may not be absolutely perfect in its arguments but it also may have some new insights that no one is aware of. It may be completely wrong but it also may be completely right. My point is that it seems like this thread has turned into a Salem witch hunt. My gut tells me that the OP believes in everything that he has written. I see passion behind his posts, but again, I may be wrong. I only see him defending himself and only pointing out that people are criticizing but haven’t read any of his book. We do need to be skeptical, especially when it comes to Christianity, Catholicism and the faith but in a somewhat respectful manner.

To the OP, your best bet would be to get reviews from some legitimate Apologists, such as Fr. Robert Barron, Jimmy Akin, Frank Turek and Dinesh D’Souza. To have their names endorsing your book would make buying your book much easier for the average seeker. It also doesn’t help that the only contact you have on your site is an email address. Typically, when I go to a site that I’m unfamiliar with and there’s no address, phone number and just an email address, I tend to steer clear. I do wish you the best and hope that everyone treats you as someone in God’s image, even if, for some reason, this is a scam (which I don’t believe it is.)

And, you may be right. At this point it would be very presumptuous of me to assert that you are wrong. I haven’t read all of the posts, but I plan to go back a page or two to see what others have said.

Why do you think God works so mathematically? Most humans don’t seem to, and we’re made in God’s image.

God bless,
jd

Hello my friend, itt23r!

I am very excited to read the introduction to the rule! You are definitely an inspiration to me. I really enjoy feeling the spirit in you to spread God’s Word, Catholicism, and a method of growing closer to Him and His Church. I look forward to learning from you, more ways of justifying God and His Church!

May the peace and joy of Christ be with you!
