Irrefutable proof of the existence of God

To Charlemagne II
You are absolutely correct. But eventually the atheist is forced to break down (as I did) when confronting so much evidence of God’s hand in creation. And to that one person at least the proof becomes irrefutable.
…although your 700 page book describing mathematical determism in God’s providence is completely ridiculous and highly refutable in one sentence like this one.

I see you joined these forum two days ago, Dec 7, 2011.
Just came around to sell you book, hunh?
Marketing conditions not what you expected? :slapfight::blackeye:

I saw your initial post in Meet and Greet #80, post #684
I’m mainly here to promote a discovery that might interest many of you. It’s a mathematical proof of the existence of God (and its a good one). Would love to open a thread to discuss it further. Anyone know how to do that?
You were right up to the first five words: “I’m mainly here to promote”
After that, you “forgot” to mention you were here to sell books.

If your object was to announce a great discovery that would put an end to atheism,
you should have taken it to the local bishop,
who would drop everything and fly straight to Rome. 😛

Good Lord, you have an awful large amount of vitriol directed against something you haven’t even read and know absolutely nothing about. And since it appears that being ignorant makes you angry there is of course a remedy. Along with the 700 page tome you deride there is also a small (48 page) summary on the same website selling for $3.00 + S&H. I make very little money on both books incidently. And that summary is a very good introduction of the subject.

But of course you won’t take this advice because I suspect you like being angry. Cursing the darkness (even though you can easily light a candle and be enlightened) apparently makes you happy.

As for my purpose here you are correct. I entered initially to promote the book but after joining I discovered the rules of the site which frowned on promotions and so I settled on just getting a feel for the reception the book would get amongst Catholics. And I have learned a lot from all of you. For one thing it appears that an apologetics page is needed for the website to respond to all the different initial objections people have to reading a book that empirically supports everything they hold dear merely by Faith. It also ppears that more information is needed to make it all a little less mysterious as one of you pointed out. So I thank you all for your help and I intend to continue to respond to all of the “intelligent” comments this thread receives.

The minute I see something claiming to be an irrefutable proof, or argument…I usually just change the channel 😛

Sure but what if it really is irrefutable proof? What do you call it then to get your attention?

Free. Not $3 for a summary, not whatever the other price is for a 700 page book. Free. That still wouldn’t convince me, but at least I’d be less likely to consider you a scam artist trying to bilk the gullible.

I sympathize with you. I also change the channel when I hear Richard Dawkins dogmatically assert evolution has irrefutably discounted the existence God. Is that man ever going to come to his senses?

The minute I see something claiming to be an irrefutable proof, or argument…I usually just change the channel
But then your implicit claim that there are no irrefutable proofs or arguments applies to your own claim - 😉 - and it may well be false… So there’s no point in changing the channel!

By why not just give the book away? Think of all the souls you would be saving. And on a more materialistic point of view, think of all the money you could make once the books sweeps the world and you do start winning the big prizes.

I searched the internet for the name of one of the priests who your lousy website claims gave an enthusiatic accolade for your book, if it really exists,  and I found his email address.
I sent him an email alerting him to your website.

The game is over, charlatan.

to empther;

My you certainly are obsessed in trying to destroy things you have no understanding of. I’m curious which Priest you contacted, the Chaplain, the Pastor, the Censor or the one presently assigned to the Vatican, not that any would refute their testimony.

And on a side note you seem to be hell bent in tearing down a book that purports to contain irrefuable proof that everything the Catholic Magesterium professes is true. Can it be inferred from your overreaction then that since you claim to be Catholic that you are one of those cafeteria Catholics (perhaps a pro-choice or Obama Catholic)? I mean your hatred for a book you haven’t even read and know nothing about is a little over the top don’t you think?

And to those who are arguing that I present everything here in this forum, I’m afraid that as tempting as it sounds. I will have to decline. And here is why. The book is 700 pages long and it took me 19 years to write and edit. Understandably it contains a lot of information. But i do understand the need to consolidate in order to reach more people which is why the 48 page summary was produced. but those 48 pages is the bare minimum I feel is necessary to do justice to the concept of the 2/3rds Rule (the name I’ve given to the discovery).

So to anyone who wants to know more I don’t think $3 + S & H is all that much to ask. It’s not like I’m getting rich from such a price. After you subtract out all the taxes and everything I barely make enough to reproduce them. Besides that, I am fully aware that anyone from this forum who does buy the booklet will be disseminating the information regardless of what I might want. But at least if this happens it will open the subject up for intelligent discussion which would be a good thing too.

By the way the booklet is also available at Amazon (see link below). Big difference is that there you can have the shipping expedited if you like.

So, James A. Victor, for that is your name according to Amazon,
you barely make a profit from this booklet?

If a publisher was printing it, the cost to you would be zero.

In fact, you’re using a website like lulu.com which will print anything if you pay for it. They send you the books and it’s your problem selling them. That’s why you’re here.

Seems like if you had made a revolutionary discovery to prove God’s existence, you wouldn’t have to go through all this trouble. Just take your theory to the office of the archdiocese of Cincanatti chancellory and they’ll take it from there.

So, James A. Victor,
your book and pamphlet are published by
**Paradigms Regain’d Publishing Co , hunh? **

There’s no such company. A YAHOO search found the only reference to it was your own lousy website.

**I’ve suspected this from the beginning. **

For those wondering at this late date what “lousy website” I’m talkiing about,

here it is: thegospelofcreation.com/

Sorry Empther but the Publishing Company you are deriding certainly does exist. It was created specifically for this book. I never really tried to find a publisher. It seemed kind of crass to try to sell something I considered holy to a publisher as though I was trying to sell them just another box of soap. So I decided instead to take the direct route to the consumer. Relying instead on the four testimonials from the four Priests on the website to espouse for my legitimacy. Speaking of them you said you there was no way that four Priests could stand up for my book and that you were going to contact them and expose me for a charletan. What happened to that? Maybe you should take your fight to the Bishop. He’ll certainly put a stop to it.

And you still haven’t explained why you are so obsessed in destroying things you know nothing about. Not exactly the actions of a rational human. Do you want to be taken seriously? Read the book or the booklet and then you might have something intelligent to complain about.

As for me, I will continue to stand with all those who’ve actually read the book and have discovered as I have that there really is mathematical evidence for the Logos in Creation. And this evidence not only provides irrefutable proof of the existence of God, it also corroborates pretty much every teaching of the Catholic Church. Prove me wrong.

For one I’m not sure I am allowed to give the name of the book or the website. But I will. The book’s name is The Gospel of Creation and the website goes by the same name www.thegospelofcreation.com
The following is a quote from the site

Yet even though the Jewish Calendar is silent about this date, the secular calendar still has a lot to say, for according to the 2/3rds Rule, this also appears to have happened on April 1st (April Fool’s Day)! And what could be more appropriate than that the greatest fool of all time should on this date abandon his faith in God?”

These guys can’t be serious.

It sounds like a gimmick to me!

You knew no publisher would print this fiasco. It would ruin his reputation.
t seemed kind of crass to try to sell something I considered holy to a publisher as though I was trying to sell them just another box of soap.
Pretty crass of some people to print the Bible.
So I decided instead to take the direct route to the consumer.
So did Bernie Madoff.

Who if they really did say what your lousy website claims would be the laughing stocks of the Church community. :egyptian::whackadoo:

I just sent the email yesterday. He may not check his email more than once a week.
Be patient. 😃
Maybe you should take your fight to the Bishop. He’ll certainly put a stop to it.
I will, and he will. 👍

to mind over matter and tony rey

Actually its not just the 2/3rds Rule that says it. Isaac Newton was the first to identify the date of the Crucifixion. By his calculations there were only a couple of dates where the first day of Passover could have occurred on a Friday during the time that Pilate was procurator over Judea. And modern scholarship (Harvard) has corroborated one of those dates. It is April 3, 33 AD. And this being the case then yes, the date many churches observe as Black Wednesday, the date that Judas betrayed Christ to the Sanhedrin, would have been April 1st. And this would also coincide with the ancient pagan festival of Veneralia in honor of the demon goddess Venus Vertacordia (the changer of hearts) another most appropriate holiday connection I think. But it doesn’t even stop there since it also coincides with the date that (according to the Book of Esther) the archfiend Haman hatched his plot with the King of Persia to kill all the Jews in the world. And that they both met the same end (Judas and Haman) is I think very fitting.

But again it isn’t really the 2/3rds Rule thats making the initial claim here. In this particular case the Rule is merely corroborating the findings of Newton and focussing in on what is being said. If you would like another example of how enlightening this lens can be, earlier in this thread Jesus’ Baptism is applied to this same light. Take a look at that one and tell me this isn’t intriguing.
