Quite frankly, the total lack of understanding of Jewish traditions and laws on the part of non-Jews is appalling. You think that because Jesus and Mary were Jewish, that gives you all the “authority” you need to shove Christian laws down their throats. Sorry, but I just cannot buy into that.

Well my brother, you’re absolutely right, I’m totally ignorant regarding the people descending from the ancient Hebrew. But, I have nothing and everything from the ancient Hebrews. Nothing, because I’m Portuguese; everything because of my Jewish Redeemer, my Savior Jesus Christ. (I hope you agree on this one)
Because of Him and by the power He has bestowed upon me, as well as you and all humanity, I have only one right, to ALWAYS proclaim His Good News, to tell everybody how much He loves, Jew or Gentile. In Christ we all are One Body, no distinctions anymore. Whoever does not accept His Teachings as the ABSOLUTE, he himself separates from the Body of Christ and that is very sad.
With that said, empowered by Jesus, my Master, my Rabbi, I can tell you that I do not need to have any degrees in Theology or any other subject to be my brother’s keeper. The blood of many Abel’s in this world crying out for justice. I mean the justice of God, not your or my condemnation, we leave that to God alone. I have a soul to save and I don’t compromise it for no one on earth! You’ll not be there to intercede for me before my Maker when He calls me to my judgment. Will you? At that time it’ll be too late, now is the time.

Again, Jesus gave me authority to defend and proclaim His Teachings to the ends of the earth, without compromising. If you don’t want to become a Catholic, too sad, He died for you too and loves you with His arms wide open.

Look, why instead of fighting for so long the impossible, we don’t pray to the Holy Spirit instead? He’ll guide us to the Truth because He cannot deceive nor He can’t be deceived.
I guarantee you that praying is the only subject, I believe you and I agree on, if we both are humble enough to accept that ABORTION IS MURDER and you and I have the great mission to stop it. If not us, who?

The fact that the woman was Orthodox Jewish is neither here nor there. Catholic morality applies to all people, as it is the same morality that God writes on the hearts of men.

It is amazing to me that some people will refuse to honestly consider the meaning of some o the things they are saying. “PastGrandKnight” gave the text book answer and yet sometimes the textbook is just wrong.

He is right, but that would definition would then mean that ANY lawful killing is acceptable. So the killing of Jews by the legitimate Nazi government was not murder, technically, does that make it right? Can anyone really argue that point?
