Is an annulment always necessary after a divorce in order to remarry if both spouses are living? If not, what are the circumstances involved?
Thanks

Your question is not quite clear. Do you mean to remarrry each other or someone else?Is an annulment always necessary after a divorce in order to remarry if both spouses are living? If not, what are the circumstances involved? Thanks KB
Someone else. If you divorce and want to remarry the same person and have never had an annulment from that person then there is no problem - the Church considers you still married. All one would need to do then is have a civil ceremony in order to fulfill the laws of the state.Your question is not quite clear. Do you mean to remarrry each other or someone else?
