Indeed they are! Iā€™ve seen lots of holy pictures of saints of whom photos exist ā€“ theyā€™ve never been quite ā€œrightā€, if you know what I mean: i.e. they always manage to make Padre Pio look crazy, Papa Benedict look evil, and St Teresa of Lisieux look like some non-descript woman in a wimple. Yours look like them.

You are truly blessed with a great talent; and we are truly blessed by you sharing with us the inspiring fruits of your labour.

PS. I re-viewed the thread and saw your portrait of Cicero. To me, one thing that your portrait captured that is lacking in so many others is Ciceroā€™s *humanness *-- he looks real, like a living, breathing, ordinary man, as opposed to a bust in marble or a gallery portrait: despite the ā€œrealismā€ or ā€œrealistic-nessā€ of classical sculpture or neo-classicist art, those always seem to lack humanity; yours looks like the man was/is really there, captured candidly, unposed, like a photo, only in pencil.

I have to stop now. Iā€™m starting to gush.šŸ˜Š

By the way, I made a model of Golgotha using Google SketchUp; admittedly, only the crosses and the placard are my work, while the soldier, the trees, and the wild dog are all ā€œborrowedā€ (Golgotha proper meanwhile is a mostly-modified terrain). Itā€™s not yet fully complete (for one, you can notice the absence of the sedile on the crosses), but hereā€™s a preview:

Wow! Great idea šŸ™‚ Iā€™ve never heard of Google SketchUp, but it looks like a lot of fun. Iā€™m definitely a fan of the things Google comes up with.
 
I am an artist I draw, and do pastels I would love to paint which is my next stepā€¦ I have been drawing since I touched paint and I fell in love with color ever since which was at the age of 3! šŸ˜›

Yes, Iā€™m a bit artistic as well, here are two of my photos.

One has been Photoshopped to add a watercolor effect and is called ā€œGood Fridayā€:

Before I begin, I must commend Albert for his excellent drawings. šŸ‘ Thanks for sharing with us your talent.

Iā€™m a writer, and my Catholic faith heavily influences and inspires my writing, both non-fiction and fiction. Everything from the writing prose, topics, characters, and themes are taken from my faith in some way. I wouldnā€™t want it any other way. In fact, I feel that reading and writing fiction that doesnā€™t in some way have good, inspiring themes is barely worth my time. Entertainment can be a good thing, but I think thereā€™s plenty of that out there already, so I hope that what I write some how stands out in its own way as being something people can take to heart and mind.

I donā€™t want to separate readers from the real world, but help them find a better connect with reality. Whether I accomplish any of this has yet to be seen, but Iā€™m not ready to give up yet. The more I write, the more I discover what I know. The more I read, the more I discover what I donā€™t. I do know that if someone enjoys something I wrote, it was worth my time.

I am also a writer, even though not publuished in any majopr way, at least so far.
My faith plays an important role in what I write. I write poetry a lot. Even when i write sad/melancholic pieces it is important to me to give them a positive twist, to not make them sound despairing.

My faith often appears in my work.
