yes she was a good actress! another one I liked was the bus passengers stranded at a cafe overnight. a UFO had crashed or been spitted and they are all suspicious of one another being an alien. in the end, the alien reveals his 3rd eye.

I don’t have cable and I don’t even have a tv.

I watch movies and shows online. Thanks to you, I just watched Nothing in the Dark. I had forgotten that one. A little spooky. Oooooh… youtube.com/watch?v=iFmpEaXtyrQ

It’s hot here in Utah, but I’m recording my favorite episodes. Wish they were commercial free though.

I like the one with Jack Klugman who has a son who is seriously injured in Vietnam. Very touching. :bighanky:

I also like “The Witching Pool” (I think that’s the title) where the children have neglectful parents and they are able to get to an alternate reality by way of their swimming pool.

I like it because the actors that play the children are the children from “To Kill a Mockingbird”. They have similar names too. But their parents are not at all like Atticus.

I didn’t realize the children of “The Bewitchin’ Pool” were the same actors as those who played the children in “To Kill a Mockingbird.” You’re right, though: their parents are quite different from Atticus! And I agree: “In Praise of Pip” is a touching episode.

I think “Nothing in the Dark” is an uplifting, moving episode and beautifully acted by the great Gladys Cooper. Glad you watched it.

“Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up” is on right now. Actually, the alien Martian has three arms, but the alien owner of the cafe, who is from Venus, has three eyes. Makes sense, right? LOL

The businessman (played by John Hoyt) who is anxious to get to Boston turns out to be the Martian among the group of travelers. He comes back to the cafe, not even wet after the bus plunges into the river, killing all the passengers. He takes out a cigarette with his third arm. However, the final surprise and shock is on him since the owner of the cafe is also an alien, but from Venus, and with three eyes, as he reveals when he takes off his hat.

Time enough is my favorite, because I love to read, and that would be just horrible!
 
A new favorite of mine is Changing of the Guard with Donald Pleasance as a teacher who considers himself a failure when is forced into retirement.
 
If I had to pick only one TZ episode as my absolute favorite, it would probably be “The Trouble with Templeton,” starring the great Brian Aherne as an over-the-hill stage actor who longs for his youthful love, Laura.

Yes it is. Redford is not all that good but Gladys Cooper is magnificent. Bette Davis once called Gladys Cooper “the queen of the English theater.” They starred together in the film “Now Voyager,” in which Cooper played Davis’ horrific mother.
