Sole problem is, comrades, that i’m not a marxist, but a trotskist, and i see the problem of the church in marx readings as a minor issue. Your problem comrades, is that you think communism=communism!
Communism is worldy, Religion is heavenly. Communism focuses on a paradise on Earth, Religion states that no paradise can be on Earth, only in Heaven. Communism is Communism.
Catilina:
You could also say religion=religion, but you know it ain’t true, lets take 2 opposites: satanism/catholicism and stalinism/trotskism.
You don’t have to turn mad about my religious belonging text in my profile, i know what i’ve written there, and while i feel myself still more like a catholic, than a believer in god, i’ve written catholic & communist.(in first place i wanted to write catholic trotskist, but figuring out that you dont know him, the usa want to keep him low, so they are only mentioning stalin, i’ve written communist)
Now the communism you all talk about is in fact Stalinism, while I’m a Trotskist, and if you would know him, you would know that he was among the first to crtiticise Stalin for his deeds.
Your statement that Communism has different branches within like the category of Religion is somewhat in err. Why? Because ideologically, Communism is one belief, so in sense you can state that said Communism is a religion.
Satanism/Catholicism/Communism. It doesn’t matter who the leader was, if they adhered to the philosophical principles, yet did it in a different method, it’s still Communism. Stalin’s attempt was cold blooded and murderous, so was Kruschevs, yet Kruschev did not seek to turn Soviet Russia into an imperial expansion like Stalin’s intentions and actions (Post Naz-Soviet non-aggression pact, which conquered Lithuania and the baltic states, and pushed in a war with Finland.)
Kruschevs intentions were realtivist Communism ‘There are many paths to Communismn’ poppycock. Trotsky wasn’t the only to criticise Stalin’s policies, his victims did too. And in fact, if Trotsky ever came to power, it would have been most likely to have even been more bloody than Stalin’s reign. Just look at his conduct under Lenin, in which I don’t believe Trotsky never had any say when Lenin starved out about two million under his War Communism plan which was enacted during the Civil War of 1921.

Here a short explenation of trotskism:

I rahter think the church helps to ease pain, but it wont remedee against the source of it.
@quasimodo: you rather dont know about history and human nature

you’re the typical communism= death, oppression, chaos , while nobody of us wants that.
Church is for salvation, not for easing the pain, there is no heavenly life here, only beyond the Earth.
Your statement to quasimodo is rather obnoxious, not an intention to insult but you show the errors that you accuse quasimodo of having. Do not be decieved by the idea that we can achieve perfection on Earth, or that we can fix all the problems on Earth, we can’t. Why can’t we do that? Sin, and I say to you that you don’t know the History and nature of Humanity, sinful, traitorous, deceptive, murderous, greedful, wrathful.
Communism does equal death, oppression and chaos, why? Because with equality there is a loss of liberty, which in turn is an act of oppression, and yet even under this sytem there is never true equality. As George Orwell gladly put it ‘All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others.’ (Animal Farm). Why does it equal death, apart from the 120 million that can be claimed from the killing count of Communism? Because it forsters either an elite that won’t allow anything to get in one’s way, or it’s ideological crusade that if no one agrees, they are an enemy of the state. Stalin’s actions were communistic, Pol Pot’s were communistic, Kim Jong - Il’s are communistic, Mao ZeDong’s were communistic.
Catalina:
now for the one arguing that communism is against the “human nature”, I say, what is human nature?
Here a extract of a anarchist answer to the human nature:
Anarchists don’t understand human nature pretty much, because they fail to understand the Evil that man can commit, and since Anarchists don’t advocate law, who are they going to turn to when someone is murdered? And how can they enact capital punishment (if that is there choice of punishment) to the murderer if there is no law that condemns such?
That article you quoted is rather erroneous also, not only for it’s ad hominem on stating that anyone who disagrees is a fool ’ Every fool, from king to policemen, from the flatheaded parson to the visionless dabbler in science, presumes to speak authoritatively of human nature.’ Human nature is authorative, and if he’s going to quote Sparta as running in Anarchy, he’s forgetting that Sparta had Kings. And if you or he can be so kind as to name one civilization without a leader, I’d be thankful.
PeterGee:
If, as a Catholic, that isn’t enough to convince you “why communism is bad”, I don’t know what is.
It won’t, because it’s not ‘his’ Communism, he tried to argue that by saying Stalin wasn’t a true Communist. He’s also stuck in the worldy view, where he doesn’t want to see the poor starve, the homeless die on the streets. He’s most likely mixing Communism with Humanitarianism. Jesus Christ has said that the poor will always be with us (Matthew 26:11).
The Phoenix:
Placing the communist manifesto at the bottom of a bird cage sounds fitting.
It’s not even worthy of that.
God Bless,
Christopher.
