Is cultural marxism just a myth or conspiracy theory created by right wing conservatives?

And how big a threat is it to the Catholic Church and to Christianity in general?
Is cultural Marxism just a fantasy created by fear-mongering capitalists and white middle class Christians?
I think it is important to be aware of the authenticity or otherwise of such concepts or political movements. As Christians should we be concerned?

Definition of Cultural Marxism: (not mine, one of the first which came up after a google search, wiki definition too complex)

Cultural Marxism: An offshoot of Marxism that gave birth to political correctness, multiculturalism and “anti-racism.” Unlike traditional Marxism that focuses on economics, Cultural Marxism focuses on culture and maintains that all human behavior is a result of culture (not heredity / race) and thus malleable. Cultural Marxists absurdly deny the biological reality of gender and race and argue that gender and race are “social constructs”. Nonetheless, Cultural Marxists support the race-based identity politics of non-whites. Cultural Marxists typically support race-based affirmative action, the proposition state (as opposed to a nation rooted in common ancestry), elevating non-Western religions above Western religions, speech codes and censorship, multiculturalism, diversity training, anti-Western education curricula, maladaptive sexual norms and anti-male feminism, the dispossession of white people, and mass Third World immigration into Western countries. Cultural Marxists have promoted idea that white people, instead of birthing white babies, should interracially marry or adopt non-white children. Samuel P. Huntington maintained that Cultural Marxism is an anti-white ideology. Critics of Cultural Marxism have maintained that Cultural Marxists intend to commit genocide against white people through mass non-white immigration, assimilation, transracial adoption and miscegenation.

Your second post definition seems to have answered your first post question.

Thought there might be some who felt my definition was biased

The definition certainly fits everything I’ve seen, read and experienced. Cultural Marxists want to establish a de facto dictatorship in the West but will never succeed. Too much information is available about their activities and what they would call ‘accomplishments.’ Generally speaking, it represents a movement based on social disorientation and social degradation. I notice it, confirm it, and disengage from it. The fewer people who participate, the weaker it becomes.

OK. that’s it.
I’m using that “buzzword” from now on. 🙂

Cultural marxism is a reality that even Bernie supporters are talking about even if they don’t use those words.

A tactic of cultural marxists is call everyone who sheds light on them alt-right racists.
just a fantasy created by fear-mongering capitalists
Capitalists outside of Alex Jones are too busy to invent conspiracy theories live from mommy’s basement.
and white middle class Christians?
🤣

Pretty much firing on all SJW cylinders there.

Can we generalise about the LGBQTI activists, saying they are cultural Marxists?

Okay, we get where you’re coming from. You’ve made that abundantly clear.

I’m honestly trying to increase my depth of knowledge on these political labels as I imagine most of you are far more advanced than me. I see it as important as a Catholic Christian to be aware of these things if I am to improve my Christian intellectual faith.

but If you are correct that is just “hate” vocabulary then. I want to avoid this.

I believe the damage to Christianity by right wing calling themselves Christians but cutting programs for humanity while creating tax cuts for non-needy is the real damage to Christianity…all the time non Christians on FB describe their view of Christians from these points of view and don’t want to be involved or open to becoming a Christian anymore, and that’s the real damage…the right uses abortion as their badge, but stops at at birth, when the 2nd Commandment clearly states thru out all life, the right is the lovers of money but the left is too far lust based too. There is no real good party for Christians at the moment. Christians need to stand up for the correct ways some how…how, don’t know…

I look at it as anyone who undermines traditional western values in favor of progressive ones. Modernists basically.

But one way is to pray for strongholds that are holding our nation to these bondages to be broken by the lord.
