You are using intuition again instead of hard numbers. Do not trust your intuition. It will lead you astray.

Looking at the end result of evolution you don’t see the path it took to get to that point. You can’t imagine the path, therefore you assume that path cannot exist. In science it is never justified to assume something is impossible just because you can’t imagine how it could be possible.
