Is Ireland's hatred for the church crossing a line?

There are many of them.

And there are some - such as yourself, as shown above - that equate priestly abuse (a small percentage) and murder in the womb (tens of millions of cases, scot-free), why otherwise would you have retorted with a point about abuse, which statistics show is perpetuated by mostly same sex attracted priests?

There are reasons I “equate” them. And I will always be more of an activist for the latter over the former, but I try to be for both.

Wikipedia gives a long, long list of sexual abuses in Ireland. Considering the small population, they seem to have a worse problem than almost any other country.

I know if I lived in Ireland, I wouldn’t be very keen to take advice about sexual matters from an Irish bishop or priest.

The sad thing is the Church could end the problem overnight. But they refuse to do so. But they’re not alone: the military, the universities, corporations, etc. all allow sexual abuse to go on and on and on…

There is nothing funny about that cartoon.

It is quite Satanic in nature and reflects the demonic power that has overtaken most of the Irish main stream media outlets.

Irish people can no longer claim their country is Christian anymore.

The large vote in favour of murdering the unborn proves that.

The 2016 USCCB report showed 81% of abusers were male-male, and 90% were post-pubescent. Eye-opening.

We need to start addressing this problem as adults, rather than activists or lobbyists.

I don’t get the cartoon. What’s on the sheet? Meh… judging by your comments maybe it is better that I don’t get it.

I think it is probably an access issue. Due to the altar boy system and the like. Also it would be seen as weird for a man to show affection to a girl or talk to her a lot but not with a boy since the assumption would be that he’s trying to get the boy interested in the priesthood so it is simply easier to abuse males.

It is wrong to speak of Ireland’s hatred for the Church .

I did some SVP visiting this week with a friend from Ireland . He does not hate the Church .

Some of the people in Ireland hate the Church .

Some of the people in Ireland love the Church .

I imagine there are some who are indifferent .
