From a man who has a 82% popularity today? The people seem very happy, no persecution as under the Muslim Brotherhood. 🤷 Thoughts? 🙂

Hey, hasantas, I still want to talk about God and the energy theory. Whenever you have more time.
And exactly that coup is one of the reason which support thoughts of some groups like ISIS. Because Muslim Brotherhood’s goverment was selected by legitimate election. But that legal goverment was upset by a coup. And that coup caused many deaths( for about 4000). So isn’t that persecution? Perhaps Muslim Brotherhood did not performed a good performance but that does not legitimate a coup. If there should be a dependable election we would see what the percentage to be for Sisi!

As our topic the groups like ISIS think that some do not allow Islam and Islamic goverment. And the lawfull ways are blocked so they turn to illegal and awful ways. Ofcourse that is not right way but unfortunately that happens so.

Islam has no head religious leader like the pope, the adherents of Islam are far more diverse than Christian faiths,I believe.

Therefore, I believe that ISIS is indeed a branch of Islam, but I am not a scholar of this religion, though I find it mildly interesting.

To my knowledge, I’ve seen no one here at CAF that really is an expert on Islam. I doubt there are too many Catholics that have studied it extensively.
Ah, being an ‘expert’ on Islam is a slippery concept, and one fraught with ‘interpretation’ and abrogation that somehow keeps getting trawled back for one reason or another.

ISIS, seeks to be fundamentalist in nature {word and deed]; that by being so they look to the earliest interpretations and claims of/for the words and deeds of ‘Allah and his Prophet’.
