I recently read the newspaper and saw a picture of the world’s first pregnant man! It was just shocking. Is it a sin? If so, why?
Men do not have the capcicities to produce children. This WOMAN underwent a sex-change procedure. Yes it is a sin. If a Christian from Peter’s time would have seen that they would have thrown themselves to the lions. It was already a disguting thing to have homosexuals back then, but this!I recently read the newspaper and saw a picture of the world’s first pregnant man! It was just shocking. Is it a sin? oh my gosh! I didn’t even think about the baby! We all have to pray for it. Maybe one day when it’s a little older it will turn on the T.V. and accidently come across EWTN.It certainly goes against all that God has created. It’s impossible to be a man and pregnant. The “man” in question, if it’s the same one that Oprah glorified, is really a woman who had a sex change operation. So in essence, “she” is pregnant. I believe it is a sin because of the circumstances that “she” became pregnant. However, my heart goes out for the innocent who is being brought into such a confused “family”. Pray for them!
They re-aired this ep on Monday of this week or it was an update. I had the same concerns because of the testosterone.Remember that this person is a woman who had her breasts removed and takes testosterone to grow facial hair. She is still a she - ovaries, uterus and DNA, I shudder to think what kind of problems she is giving to her unborn child with the daily doses of testosterone she needs to take to continue the circus act.
And shame on Oprah for drawing attention to this! She needs prayers.
I seriously doubt she would be continuing with the testosterone whilst pregnant - for one to do so would probably have made it more difficult for her to GET pregnant, for two no medical specialist would permit it, and for all her faults she DOES want the baby so I’m sure she wont’ do anything that would harm its physical health - although she will probably take it up again some time after birth when it’s no longer an issue.Remember that this person is a woman who had her breasts removed and takes testosterone to grow facial hair. Maybe I misunderstood her but I thought she mentioned taking testosterone in the present tense and this was reinforced by the beard she’s sporting. But I don’t know for a fact that she is.I seriously doubt she would be continuing with the testosterone whilst pregnant - for one to do so would probably have made it more difficult for her to GET pregnant, for two no medical specialist would permit it, and for all her faults she DOES want the baby so I’m sure she wont’ do anything that would harm its physical health - although she will probably take it up again some time after birth when it’s no longer an issue.
IIRC her hormones would take quite some time to regulate after she ceased taking testosterone, so the beard could remain for some time even if she wasn’t taking itMaybe I misunderstood her but I thought she mentioned taking testosterone in the present tense and this was reinforced by the beard she’s sporting. By being pregnant its obvious that the person is not a man but a woman.I recently read the newspaper and saw a picture of the world’s first pregnant man! It was just shocking. Is it a sin? If so, why?
Transsexualism and homosexuality are completely different things. The overwhelming majority of homosexuals do not feel transsexual. Statistics about transsexuals are less clear due to lower numbers, but it is common for male to female transsexuals do be attracted to women, and for female to male transsexuals to be attracted to men.Considering most of the people who have sex changes state they were attracted to the same sex basically from early ages as 5 it makes it clear that these individuals were born gay.
You forgot to mention that it is a woman who is “married” to a woman. That is the sin of homosexuality. The sins we are dealing with here are mutilation and procreation outside the unitive nature of the marital act. The pregnancy itself cannot be said to be sinful even if the means of achieving it were.
