I’m so spoiled. My Church is across the street from my subdivision. And it annoys me when people say “well I don’t see how that’s possible” - like with the lady from eastern NC who literally lives 30 miles from the nearest Church and 4 hours from the center of the diocese and people kept saying that didn’t make any sense. Uh, sure it does - welcome to rural America - and I’ve definitely seen houses in the middle of the UK countryside that are equally in the middle of nowhere.
She said “my family live in the U.K.”[sic]Excuse me, but I didn’t judge you.
Please re-check how you quoted.
I want to revisit the OP again. I think this is no big deal. Your children are dependents. There’ll be no guilt imputed on them if they cannot attend mass because of nobody to send them. Of course ideally they should but cannot because you are not home this time around.Hi
I am going on a catholic retreat this weekend
My husband is not Catholic so I take our children to Mass every Sunday. My question is this:
Should I leave the retreat early so I can get home and take my children to Mass , otherwise they won’t go or is it ok if they miss Mass and I stay on the retreat?
One of my children receives Communion. The other is too young.
There is Mass at the retreat
Thank you for any help.
We have the Cathedral Basilica and The Basilica of St. Louis, King of FranceI’m spoiled rotten. I live one mile from the Diocesan Cathedral. I’m surrounded by many good Churchesincluding two minor Basilicas
Cruciferi is a good (guy?)…who likes to pick on you. If he (?) isn’t picking on you…well, then I’d worry.I wasn’t bragging. I’m just proud.
