This is true if both partners to the marriage are Catholic. If only one is Catholic there is no requirement for the non-Catholic partner to make such a promise.When you get married in the Church, you agree to raise the children in the Faith. Both parents agree to this.
You can be sure about that. I’ve read it on CAF quite a few times, and experienced it in real life.It’s strange how we have to tell her what to do because we got no idea what happened between them.
