Is it safe to have people from non-Christian religions to pray for you?

The question is pretty self explanatory.

It’s common to ask our friend to pray for us when we are going through a rough time. “Please pray for me”. I catch myself saying this alot to my friends, even the non-Christian ones.

If one worshiped a pagan God, would it be safe for me to ask them to pray for me, since they would be invoking a pagan deity (demonic according to our faith) to interact in my life?

Better just stick to asking Christians for prayer,the others will do zilch for you .

Scrupulosity acting up? I frequently let folks know that I appreciate any and all prayers. God hears all and knows the heart of both believer and non-believer. I tell them that they need not even believe in God - but He will certainly hear them.

If a pagan is going to pray, return the favor and ask God to intercept that prayer and use it according to His will.

What could be better?
 
Not everything is scrupules.

To discern whether what you are doing is right is a sign of God’s grace in your life. This is a good question. My personal opinion would be to only ask Christians to pray for you. It would do more harm than good for you to ask a pagan to pray for you as it would be encouraging them to invoke their false god.
 
Correct in that not everything is scruples. But, if you notice what “appears” to be a pattern, it might just be a kindness to mention it. As well, notice the question mark.
 
I’ve had some bad situations and have been really touched by how willing some non religious people have been to pray for me. I think it’s good to encourage people to pray and for some it could be a starting point for growing in faith.
 
Prayers to “Satan” are directly offensive to Catholics, while prayers from others are not. We believe in Saint Michael the Archangel being the patron and protector of the Church. Therefore, we cannot accept Satanic prayer whatsoever. Jewish and Muslim prayers are the closest to Christian prayer because they stem from Abraham as oppose to Hindu. Amid all the chaos in the world many deny that truth because they listen to Satan.
